It seems obvious to me
 by Jeff Crook

A few things seem obvious to me:

1) That Howard Fineman's suck-fest at MSNBC.com is Microsoft's way of paying back Slappy for shortening
the leash of the Justice Department dogs. How do you give a big thank you to the Karl Rove media spin machine?
Tap Howard Fineman to pen what must go down in history as the most heinous example of  journalistic rim jobs
ever perpetrated ever tongued.

2) That Rudy Giuliani's toying with extending his mayoral term was but another example of a Republican floater.
It's a tactic we have come to recognize all too well. Remember when, in the first days of the Bush administration,
someone said they were shutting down the White House AIDS office? Then when the shit hit the fan, they pulled back
and said someone misspoke? Republican floater - do something you really want to do, see if people complain,
and if they do, blame it on an underling or someone about to leave office anyway.

Rudy's ploy is really just Karl Rove testing the water to see how the public would react if, during a time of crisis,
a leader proposed suspending normal election law and remaining in power until the crisis is over. Had New York
embraced Rudy's attempt at staying in office, then come 2004, some crisis or other would erupt, Rove would make
a few phone calls, and suddenly Rush, Cokie, Ann, Tony, Bill, Chris, and every other shit-stained mouthpiece would
be all over TV and radio saying, "In these dire times of national crisis, we need to let the president finish the job
he was elected to do."

Thankfully, Rudy's floater stunk as bad as most other floaters and Mr. Rove will have to find another way to
illegally keep his frat boy in the White House.

3) It also seems obvious to me that a confused message does not include details. A confused message is
when you hear "Air Force One is a target" when they actually said "Air Force One is not a target."
When you don't understand what someone says, you don't also get erroneous details out of that misunderstanding,
details like, "Code words indicated" and "I'm not going to let some tin-horn terrorist keep me out of Washington."

4) Continuing, it is also obvious that the whore media has no cojones because no one ever asked Ari, "Who
told you that Air Force One was threatened?" No one ever asked Karl, "If there weren't tin-horn terrorists
threatening Air Force One, then why did W make that famous Slappy statement about tin-horns?" No one ever
asked Ari, "Your job is in the White House. Did you see the vandalism yourself and can you describe it in
detail?" And despite the fact that the "Air Force One was a target" story has been discredited and that the
White House has admitted as much, no one has gone on to ask, "So why WAS he flying all over creation when
he should have been high-tailing it back to Washington?" Such questions unfortunately involve verifiable
particulars and the naming of names, which, when you are backpeddling, tend to cause you to fall on your ass.

5) And in general, if you agree with what you heard, if you say, "Jerry, those are my thoughts as well,"
then what you think you heard actually has to be something you agree with. If someone says "God has
removed his protective hand from this nation because of all the gays and liberals," and you agree with him,
but then say you didn't understand what Jerry said when you were agreeing with him, then you must have
been agreeing with the opposite of what Jerry said, something like, "God has not removed his protective
hand from this nation because of all the gays and liberals." In which case, you'd be going back on 40
years of preaching by embracing gays and liberals. I wonder what Pat thought he heard. And I wonder why no
one has asked him what he thought he was agreeing with when he said "Those are my thoughts as well."

6) That Ann Coulter has lost whatever mind she had.

7) Lastly, it is painfully obvious to me that, if (and this is a big if, with a big F at the end), if we ever
find out what the final recount in Florida is, we'll have a president with a clear paper trail showing how
he and his puppetmasters BROKE THE LAW and DESTROYED THE PUBLIC TRUST. And we'll have
clear and irrefutable signs showing that the Supreme Court Five were willing accomplices in the coup,
as were a large majority of Republican Senators, Congressmen, and Governors. The reason that this
information is being suppressed is because it has the potential to destabilize the entire government,
and that a hell of a lot of people that the corporations and the media have spent millions putting into power
will be tossed out on their ears and possibly even prosecuted. And once these bastards are out of office,
all those papers from the Reagan administration and Bush I administration will come to light and show how
they were breaking the law then, too. There are still too many people from that administration earning millions
by raping the environment and bleeding third-world countries and the American worker.
These are the people who paid to get Weak & Stupid elected.

In addition, when it is seen how corporations created and directed this coup and how the media willingly
participated, it will destabilize the market economy and the free press to such an extent that nothing will
ever be the same again. And as we all know, the only way the Republicans and the corporations embrace
change is if it changes things back to the way they were.

8) And it is also painfully obvious that all this took place because the Republican Party has decided that
never again will they lose power to the likes of a Bill Clinton; America be damned.
