 Tips:

 Automated and mass e-mails are instantly rejected.
 Write your letter yourself-straight from your indignant heart.

 You will have to give up an e-mail address if you write.
 One that’s set up as a junk mail catch-all would do just fine.

 Typically it is better received if you put your address in with your rantings.
 The Senators never answer e-mail to e-mail, but very often will have one of
 their people write you back. Don’t get disgruntled-your point is made simply
 by connecting. Enough Democrats finally outraged enough to write creates
 hatchmarks in the favor of your issue. Letters show what the corrupted polls don’t show.
 How do you think the fanatical right got so powerful, anyway?

 As tempting as it is to vent all your anger and rage out in your phone call or letter,
 you will have your opinion heard much more clearly if the tutu being written to
 believes that you are a normal, stable citizen who votes. A lot.

 If you write to Hillary or Chuckie Schumer, say you're from a town in NY.
