What if Jenna Bush killed someone in a drunk driving accident?
 By Kevin Cunningham

Would it be okay to talk about her recklessness and disregard for the law then-
even if she is a daughter of the appointed president?
(Nevermind that she's an adult)

Seriously now, I seem to be about the only one that thinks that it's
okay to criticize (adult relative of the president) Jenna Bush when she breaks the law.
To me, it only seems equal to when conservatives roundly criticized and attacked adult
relatives of Clinton when they broke the law (and even minor relatives of Gore).

But the consensus seems that even though she's an adult, because she's
the daughter of the appointed president, she gets a free pass.

But I was wondering.
Exactly where do you then draw the line?

What law exactly would she have to break before you consider it “appropriate” to criticize her?
I know people are saying she’s only a kid (which is wrong, because she’s an adult) so leave her alone,
but they are then quick to criticize minors that shoot up their schools, or get sentenced to die
because they killed someone.

So I was wondering what law it would take for Jenna to break before they
would freely criticize her (even if she is a daughter of an illegitimate president).
Tell you what, to make it easier, I’ll list some crimes in a round about ascending order of illegality.
If you think that Jenna Bush shouldn’t be criticized for breaking a drug law (alcohol), you can say
at which point, at which law she breaks when it is allowed to be critical of her lawbreaking.
(Numbered for your ease in answering)

1) Removing the “Do Not Remove” tag off of the mattress
2) Jaywalking
3) Driving without a license
4) Running a red light
5) Speeding
6) Excessive reckless speeding
7) Using marijuana
8) Using cocaine
9) Hit and Run
10) Robbery
11) Drunk Driving
12) Armed robbery
13) Killing someone while driving drunk
14) Killing someone in an armed robbery

You get the idea.
And just to throw some fun non-illegal ones in, when would you say it’d
be allowed to be critical of her in these example:

If she was caught...

a) Having sex with her boyfriend
b) Having sex with her boyfriend’s roommate.
c) Having sex with the football team
d) Having sex with a woman
e) Having sex with the Women’s Basketball team
f) Making porno videos

(Hey, at least if I’m going to obsess about the sex life of someone, at
least it’s of a babe and NOT a male president- like so many male conservatives have ;-)

Thanks for clearing this up.
Just wanna know when I should be critical of Jenna Bush when she next commits a crime...
...and when I shouldn’t.
