Palin in for 2012
She's stepping down as AK Gov

 Link

 Excerpt:
Sarah Palin will not run for re-election as governor of Alaska, US media have reported.
Mrs Palin's term of office is due to end in 2010.

There has been speculation that Palin might make a bid for the White House in 2012.
Commentators have also suggested Mrs Palin could run for one of Alaska's Senate seats.

That reporting is inaccurate - she's stepping down early.

CNN and MSNBC are opining that she's retiring from politics,
that she's taking the $7M from her book deal and going to live the good life.

No, not on your life.
The GOP's top fundraiser getting out of politics?
Are you crazy?

I say God has "other plans" for her.  She's running for the White House in 2012
and she can't effectively do that if she's thethered to Juneau.  Also, expect Alaska's
economy to crash and she wants to get out so she can blame her successor.
