Rush Limbaugh has made several hateful racist remarks about African-Americans over the years.
Rush Limbaugh calls War Protesters "Anti-American, Anti-Capitalist Marxists and Communists"!!
Many of us, who have been offended by these remarks, have complained to the sponsors of his
radio show. We are starting to see some results from these legitimate complaints. Radio Shack,
Amtrak, and Midas have recently pulled their ads from Limbaugh's show.

Read the letter from the Midas marketing manager to a concerned citizen in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
 

Dear Mr. Xxxxx -

I received your e-mail regarding Midas ads on the Rush Limbaugh Show in Ann Arbor.
We would like you to know that we have notified our ad agency to pull our advertising from that show immediately.

Please be assured that it was never our intention to imply approval of any of Mr. Limbaugh's comments.
It is not our policy to buy advertising time in controversial programming such as his and this was an
oversight that Midas ads aired in his program in Ann Arbor.

Thank you very much for your e-mail and we hope you will continue to be a patron
of your locally owned and operated Midas.
