My 70 year old mother introduced me to Bartcop in 2000 and she loved him too. I am absolutely crushed that he's gone, I can only imagine how friends and family are grieving his passing.

Bartcop made life bearable because I knew when I got home there was one place I could go and not feel so alone and have a laugh at the same time. I found a few more great websites and radio hosts, Mike Malloy being one of those whom I also fell madly in love with. Bart and Mike (for me) were so alike and so very different. Both are intelligent, witty, and neither of them miss a stitch but it is the intensity of passion for truth and honesty that drew me in.
I often think back to a very busy day back in 2001 Terry took the time from that very chaotic day to send me a kind and calming email. I'll never forget that. He has the biggest heart and he was the most honest and trusted guy in the land as far as I was concerned. Then later sometime he sent me some BC stickers in the mail. I still have a couple.
Bartcop you rocked my Get Your Big Hammer senses into motion. XOXOXO

I will miss you dearest sir I will.
Sending love love and comfort and heartfelt condolences. Thanks Bartcop love ya always.

Bart was the only way I survived the bush years -- especially with my Worst President Ever shirt! He will be missed!

Terry's humor and wit will be missed by all of us, and our thoughts are with his family. I read his work from the very beginning of RL-LNW, and always enjoyed the perspective and even the occasional email discussion.
Like so many other readers, he was my 'go-to' source through a lot of significant events, and his writing could make me laugh and cry, all in one paragraph!
A significant part of my daily life is gone, but my loss is nothing, compared to the loss that his family is enduring. I'll keep the subscription going to help out - it's the least I can do.
Godspeed, farewell, and a shot of Chinaco to you, my friend.

I think it is so poignant that Bart was taken from us in the middle of his trip report to Colorado where he recently shared in their new freedom to openly enjoy God's flowers. If Hillary is elected in 2016, I'll sure be thinking of Bart on election night!

I have never donated to this site (very limited income) but have been tuned in for about 8 years. Great ideas, conversations, fighting for everyone's right to say what they want. Mrs. Bart, so sorry for your loss, you have friends out there in spirit who love and support you. Perhaps your cats will channel some of your husbands' personality and give you solace in the times to come. Carry on and best of luck.

Bart will be missed so much. I think someone needs to become a Bart intern. My husband will miss the naming of the History mystery and name that tune. And I will miss being bought into all the Bart posts that we enjoyed together.

Way back when I first discovered Bartcop I loved every post. When I discovered you were from T-town as well it made me walk a little taller.
I just got a job again after 4 months of nada, but I'll be sending a love offering for all the good times.
Vaya con carne, compadre!
