I first came across Bartcop in 2006 and have been a reader ever since. Bartcop was great and I will miss Him.

I'd been reading Bartcop on and off (mostly on) for about ten years. I kept waiting for the next update...and then read about his passing. Shock, sadness, and then the realization that the guy who got me through the Bush years was gone. I'll miss his humor, I'll miss the hotties, but most of all I'll miss that swinging hammer. Give 'em hell in heaven Bart, even if you didn't believe in either.

Last week as we hadn’t heard news about Bart and I was fearing the worst; Friday when I heard the news I was devastated. I went to the memorial service and it was clear he was loved as much by his family as he was by his fans, his extended family. For some of us he was our strength for others he helped us keep our sanity (for some of us both), but for all of us he was our voice and what a voice it was.

Mrs. Bart, thank you for sharing him with us for all these years. Behind every great man there's a great woman. A shot of Chinaco to you and Bart.

This is tragic! This isn't fair! I am so sad -- I feel this loss ..

For so many years Bartcop has been there ---
I always knew when I looked I'd learn something,
I'd find a mind keen on catching and confronting the stupidity, the spin, and the hypocrisy we've seen so much of in the last two decades,
and I'd enjoy some humor.

There have been days when Bartcop humor was all that kept me from screaming What's Happened to America?!!

I for one hope a way is found to keep the historical pages on the web available. And maybe some continuance.

Many, many thanks, Bart -

Best to all of Terry's family -

The first website I check when I get home from work. If you have never heard Bartcop Radio you are missing out, I promise. I never understood why Bart didn't go the Podcast route more strongly.

Anyway, I am so sad. I will miss my friend. My thoughts are with Mrs Bart and the kitties.

Help if you can.

I've been enjoying many of Bart's long-ago pages, specifically the week the 2003 Iraq war started. He was right about EVERYTHING (as was I). Bart had to scrape for bucks while the pundits who got it all wrong made bucco bucks and had a cushy life. Outrage!

My heart is broken to learn of the death of bart. I recently discovered his unique take on life and politics. I miss him. Mrs. Bart- thank you for your contributions. As a native oklahoman i found bart to be a refreshing breath of fresh air over our state!
