Bart was a fixture in my life for a decade and a half. I don't have words to express how sad I am at his passing. The world is lessened by his absence.

Bart absolutely blazed the trail we at the Beer Party, and so many other efforts to push back against the right wing misinformation machine and it's efforts to disguise the right's agenda of creeping fascism, are following today. The Other 98, Moveon.org, The Everlasting GOP Stoppers, so many others as well. We all owe you a debt of gratitude. And we will carry on the fight!

I am one of those that found many friends among those of the "Bart Cop" gang. I learned much from those who populated the site. I still have one of the Bart Cop Stickers that Bart sent me many many years ago. I owe much to this site and its people. I hope that Bartcop will not go dark and that Mrs Bartcop will be able to continue on and survive this terrible turn of events. I will always remember this site and the people who populate it. May you all find peace and contentment in any and all endeavors you attempt.
