Volume 1440 - All my pills are blue

Thursday    Nov 11,  2004                                                                                                                             Mike Malloy on AAR weeknights

 Quotes

"I would encourage the media to abandon exit surveys on Election Day and do what we do...
(He means write a check to Diebold.) Don't build a model that you try to build your own thoughts
into of what you expect it to be. In 2000 the exit data was wrong on Election Day.  In 2002, the exit
returns were wrong on Election Day. And in 2004, the exit data were wrong on Election Day -- all
three times, by the way, in a way that skewed against Republicans and had a dispiriting effect on
  Republican voters across the country."
--RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie,  "GOP Wants to Kill All Exit Polls"   Attribution

They are trying to cover their tracks.

The 2000 exit polls were right - we won that election.
The 2002 exit polls were right - we won that election.
The 2004 exit polls were probably right - we might have won that election.

They want exit polls done away with because it conflicts with the paid-for Diebold results.
They want you to think people vote, then lie to the pollsters as they walk towards their car.

If only we could get Kerry or Gore to ask a few questions,
...but I guess they have other priorities?

We're not going to win another election until we get a verifiable count.

 Ashcroft resigns from the BFEE
Can you hear the angels singing?

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
Attorney General John Ashcroft (R-Insane), a crazy bastard who generated controversy with his
tough tactics against Tommy Chong and statue titties instead of the war on terror, resigned Tuesday.
He and Don Evans were the first members of the Cabinet to quit before the start of a second term.

In a five-page, rambling letter, Ashcroft told Bush,
"The objective of securing the safety of Americans from crime and terror has been achieved."

Wow!  Did he really tell that lie?

Ashcroft, who counts Chong and Martha Stewart as biggest collars, seemed to fit right into Bush's
get-everybody-but-bin-Laden theme of law enforcement. He also saw fit to rewrite Oregon's laws
and force the dying to endure more pain because his superstition was more important than theirs.

He will not be missed by anybody

...except the religiously insane and Democratic fundraisers.

 Quotes

"This was Providence. Anybody looking at the 2000 election would have to say it was
a miraculous deliverance, and I think people felt it again this year. By allowing Bush to stay
in office, God is giving us a chance to repent and to restore some moral sanity to American life."
--Charles Colson, saying God wanted the Giggling Murderer to remain president,   Attribution

The rest of the world thinks knows America has become religiously insane.
How frighteningh for them that the world's only superpower is run by religiously insane handjobs
who read the entrails from dismembered chickens to see who dies next..

Is this is how France felt in the early forties?
Our choices are to go along with the Fourth reich, or fight them from within.

Do we take this occupation lying down?
Do we give in and "go with the flow" because it's easier than resisting?

What would Jesus Christ have done?
Would He have joined in the invading and killing of Arabs just to steal their oil?

 Subject: Gonzales as Attorney General

 Bart,

Am I the only one concerned about the guy who basically argued in favor of torturing
prisoners is now going to be the chief law-enforcement agent of this country?
He seems to have interesting ways of interpreting laws.

The media claims he will go through confirmation no problem - how the hell can this happen?
If the Democrats do not raise a stink and block this one - I give up completely.

 Gibbo

 Gibbo, two thoughts:
First, when I heard about Gonzales, I thought, "Anybody's better than f-ing Ashcroft."
Second, you can't expect the Democrats to do their jobs.
 They're scared spineless.

Bush Moves to Privatize Steal Your Social Security

  Click  Here

..
 "You can trust me!"

  Excerpt:
"Fresh from a Diebold mandate, Bush is dusting off an ambitious proposal to overhaul defund Social Security,
a controversial idea that had been shelved because of politics and his focus on tax cuts and terrorism.

Bush envisions a framework that would partially privatize Social Security with personal investment accounts,
similar to the Enron plan that went over so well with participants, that allowed Kennyboy to steal billions.
Bush said the Enron model provided "a good blueprint."

Ther irony here is, with Bush in control and bullying all Democrats into silence, your life savings
might actually be safer in an Enron 401(k) than with the Bush-possessed federal government.

My good friend Barry Crimmins has a book out

What Publishers Weekly said about Barry's book:
'Crimmins helped launch the careers of Steven Wright, Bobcat Goldthwait and others.
While he's recently gained wider recognition through his stand-up performances
and his writings for Air America Radio, this funny, intelligent book could increase
his audience even more. Witty and insightful, it has the potential to make Crimmins
a prominent voice on the left.   Crimmins takes a comedic scalpel to various right-wing targets,
including Henry Kissinger (who inspired the book's title), Dennis Miller and the Bush administration."

 Quotes

"Whoever won, it would have been God's will. But because Bush won, God has clearly shown

 Bush's 'Incredible' Vote Tallies
by hotter-than-fire Robert Parry (D-On Fire) at consortiumnews.com

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
Bush's vote tallies, especially in the key state of Florida, are so statistically stunning that they border on the unbelievable.

Bush racked up more votes than registered Republicans in 47 out of 67 counties in Florida. In 15 of those counties,
his vote total more than doubled the number of registered Republicans and in four counties, Bush more than tripled the number.

Statewide, Bush earned about 20,000 more votes than registered Republicans.

Hmmmm, that looks like an "unturned stone" to me.
I wonder if Kerry has any interest in getting to the truth?
Will the Democrats who lose in 2006 have any interest in the truth?

What will it take to wake the Democrats?
Why are they content to lose every election to fraud?

 From Marc Perkel

Thursday morning, I checked my phone answering machine and found a call from Perkel:

"Bart, I just heard the first section of BCR Show 59 and I was so impressed with it
I think everybody should hear it, and I'm willing to pay the costs of distribution.
We need to build BartCop radio into a powerhouse and this ought to help."

  Wasn't that nice of him?

So, for a limited number of hours (it's up to him) Part One (of seven) of BCR 59 will be
available to listen to or download, so if you're interested, download now, don't delay.

Warning: This section includes the language most America uses.
It's not vulgar, it's just full of passion that money can't buy.
The stakes are very high and we took a beating last week and that's what you'll hear.
Your kids and your parents would like it, but maybe not with you in the room.

This 35 minute Part One of BCR 59 is brought to you by Marc Perkel and his Church of Reality.
Unlike the money-based craziness brought to you by Bush and Ashcroft, Perkel's Curch is real

  Excerpt:
 Wow. Oh my god...............
How wrong I was. I can hardly believe it.
It's 1 am and it looks as though Bush is going to win.

Of course there is a slim chance that he won't but I'm going to bed now feeling somewhat
dismayed and defeated. It is a horrible feeling to realise that one's beliefs are so out of step
with the majority and yet I have never felt more sure of where I stand over my liberal ideals.

It's the morning after and poor old Kerry has conceeded. What a sad state of affairs.
It truly blows my mind that America has embraced this administration.
I can only conclude that people have not armed themselves with enough information.
That they have been hoodwinked and mislead by a cowed press.

 You gotta love her...

 Subject: Kerry

 Bart, you wrote:

> "If Kerry had chosen to campaign, he might've won those five groups."

But Bart, why campaign against a candidate and party you fundamentally agree with?

"Campaign against," could be a mischaracterization of my actions.
I was urging Kerry to wake up and begin the fight against Bush.

 Subject: Hey, Bush voters...

Hey, Bush voter, enjoy your tax cuts and moral values now because:

When the public school doesn't have money for textbooks
When you don't have money for a private school

When you are forced to have your rapist's child
When your parents have to choose between food and medicine

When you are forced to work in a hazardous work environment
When your job gets sent to China

When your child is drafted and dies in an un-necessary, illegal war
When you get sick due to the environment

When you get sicker due to corporate malfeasance and lack of government oversight
When a treatable, but expensive medical condition debilitates you

When you can't get insurance because you couldn't afford to fund your private account
When you are turned away at the emergency room for lack of insurance

When you can't get unemployment benefits because the program was killed
When you can't get SSDI, because your private account is too small

When you can't find a job that pays the bills
When you can't buy food because food stamps no longer exist

When your son is thrown in jail for being gay
When your daughter dies from a botched abortion

When you are homeless because Section 8 no longer exists
When bankruptcy laws don't allow you to clear your debt

When you can't afford a lawyer and none is afforded to you
When you are put in prison to work off your debts

When the prison has too few guards and you are routinely tortured
When you retire on your private account and a well-connected CEO takes the money

Don't ask the Democrats for help.  It is not that they don't want to help; they can't; so they wont.
Sit back and enjoy the "Neo-Con Show Part II".

Exit polls analysis versus reported vote count
by  Faun Otter, who always does stellar work

  Click  Here

  Excerpt:
The Bush people argue that the exit polls are skewed by the methodology employed. It is odd that they
don't say what that error producing part of the methodology might be. A skew means a systematic error
is introduced by the test protocol and causes a consistent shift in one direction.

IF this was true, then all the exit polls would show the same sort of shift from 'actual' results.

The GOP offer an alternative argument that the exit polls are not large enough samples and therefore
the results are off by a large random error.  IF this was true, then the exit polls should scatter on either side
of the actual result,, especially if the final result is close to 50/50.

What do we actually see when comparing exit polls with actual results?

There is skew - but ONLY in states which the Republicans had previously stated to be target states in play.
The skew is in the same direction every time; that is to say in favor of Bush.

I wonder if Kerry cares enough to get involved?

Over the past year I have heard a lot of conspiracy nuts talking about how someone

I heard on NPR's "All things considered" a couple of months ago that a California

This is a "non-lethal" electronic device that can stop a high-speed chase

Of course it is only "non-lethal" if used on a car,
it would be very lethal if aimed at a small airplane.

The APCs circled the block twice, the second time parking themselves in the street and directly

Enraged, some of the people attempted to block the APCs, but police quickly cleared the street.

  Excerpt:
Seeking to take advantage of the momentum from an election where moral values
proved important to voters, the Rev. Jerry Falwell announced Tuesday he has formed
a new coalition to guide an "evangelical revolution."

Falwell, a religious broadcaster based in Lynchburg, Va., said the Faith and Values Coalition
will be a "21st century resurrection of the Moral Majority," the organization he founded in 1979.
Falwell said he would serve as the coalition's national chairman for four years.

He added that the new group's mission would be to lobby for anti-abortion conservatives
to fill openings on the Supreme Court and lower courts, a constitutional amendment banning
same-sex marriage, and the election of another "George Bush-type" conservative in 2008.

 There you have it.

  Excerpt:
The U.S. ambassador to Kuwait (BFEE Puppet) and other senior U.S. officials put pressure on Halliburton
to award a contract to a Kuwaiti company suspected of overcharging to bring fuel into Iraq, says the State Dept.

The documents said State received information that Halliburton demanded kickbacks and solicited bribes
from Altanmia Commercial Marketing Company of Kuwait.  Halliburton has been a lightening rod of criticism
by Democrats,(Oh, please! ) who say the company is the U.S. military's biggest contractor in Iraq because of
its ties to Cheney, who continues to get money from them.  Last month, the Army Corps of Engineers said
deals given to Halliburton were the worst case of contracting abuse they had ever seen.

They got 11 more  since yesterday, for no reason.

11 more

Soon it will be 20 more  since yesterday, for no reason.

After that it will be 40 more since yesterday, for no reason.

Why did the military vote 3-1 for Bush?

In Iraq, do our soldiers pledge allegiance to Halliburton?

 Living with PTSD

  Excerpt:
Bart -- You said you thought your readers would be interested in my forty-year experience with PTSD, and invited me
to write as much or little as I liked. I am taking you up on your offer, not because I think my struggles are unique or
especially important, but because I saw a report out of Walter Reed Medical Center a couple of months ago which
indicated that 23% of American service personnel returning from Iraq are suffering PTSD.

 Subject: Your Suggestions Stink

 Bartcop:

It is laughable that you think Kerry would have won if he had followed your pleas point by point.
 Nonsense.
If Kerry had followed your ideas he would have LOST 60% to 37% and humiliated the Democratic Party.

You are so far out in the left wing of the Socialist Sector of the Democratic Party you would lose millions of votes.
 Bill Foster

You're saying Massachusetts liberal John Kerry is to my right?
 Actually, I'm a pro-military, gun-carrying realist.
 But I guess next to a hyp-mo-tized, goose-stepping fascist, everyone is a left-winger.

So if Kerry is to my right, that makes Bush a liar about Kerry's "left wing extremism."
What took you so long to realize Bush was lying?

 Housekeeping

We have a funeral to attend in Little Rock, so we'll be on the road Friday and Sunday.
I'll have the laptop, so I'll check in if something big breaks - otherwise, see you Monday.

 Subject: You're a f-ing paranoid dipshit!

Hey, Bart, in your e-mail you wrote:

>  "Do you blow your daddy with that dirty mouth?"

Fair enough question. Yes, yes I do.
 But I use mouthwash, first.
