Dems and Tax Cuts
House Democrats won't
be forcing a vote on extending the Bush tax cuts for middle class
a senior House leadership aide tells TPM.
As we've been writing about today, Democrats are gleeful over a window
of opportunity they see
just in time for the midterm elections over John Boehner's positions on
whether to make Bush's tax cuts
permanent for everyone but the wealthy.
That's what Obama is pushing, and Boehner suggested Sunday he would
support such a vote if

Democrats force Boehner's hand?
A senior House leadership aide says no.
"We shouldn't force his hand, we should let the Republicans dangle out

and keep hammering them on holding middle class tax cuts hostage for
$700 billion in debt-financed tax cuts
for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans," the aide said.
Let me ask a question - and I'm serious:

The Democrats ALWAYS miss the super-obvious, in this case
Who wanted the tax cuts to
expire in 9 years?
It was Bush's idea to let the tax cuts
expire after nine years,
so why is Obama a Kenyan Socialist if he agrees with Bush?
Bush is the Socialist here
- it was his idea for a
"temporary" tax cut
and that makes Bush
anti-American and anti-business.
I can't stand being the
smartest Democrat in America.
That's why we're in so much trouble - because the
is the only guy on our entire team with half a brain!
If there was any other place to go I would've gone there
