Owl along McCarthy Road
Was driving back from
McCarthy late one night and stopped to look at the old
Kennicott Railroad train trestle at the Husalina River and looked up to
see this owl
staring down at me from a beam over the river.
It
sat there for about 10 minutes allowing me to take some great closeup
shots.
I
felt extremely fortunate to have had the rare opportunity to view one
of these
beautiful creatures up close, I have only seen a handful of owls in my
entire lifetime. :o)
