Subject: You did *not* say that

That subject line is quoting your own response to Marc in the "WMDs and Hillary" section,
but it's also my response to your stating that

>Maybe we could find someone who voted "No," and ask them:

> "The president, the State Dept, the CIA, the Defense Dept etc gave you their
>  Nancy Grace Guarantee that Saddam had WMDs and the means to deliver them
> - so why did you vote to leave the East Coast vulnerable to Saddam's attack?"

> Then Murray or whoever could point us towards that smoking gun which eludes us.

In other words, the people who voted *against* this insane war were wrong?
The ones who voted *for* it were right?

No.
You have incorrectly summarized my position.

My point is this:
I'm not lying, and I don't think my 'accusers' are lying.  I think there is confusion in the air
and we've been kicking this around for years, so instead of asking the YES voters why they
voted that way, let's ask the "NO' voters. Hell, maybe someone will shed some light on the answer.

Bart, you know better than that .. don't you?

You did not ask that question.
The rule is, when you spring that "...and you know better" stuff, that's an accusation.
I'm gonna let you have a free one this time  ...but you might want to throttle back a little.

I know you're probably getting desperate contorting yourself to defend Hillary's misdeeds

You know how to push my buttons.

For the 2047th time, I'm going with the Demo front-runner.
If Hillary can't measure up, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

If Democrats want this war to end, I say vote against the GOP
and realize a vote for some can't-possibly-win third party helps them.

For your next trick,

Are you looking to get slapped by a body part? :)

how about explaining how she was actually *correct* in voting for inhumane bankruptcy laws?),

At last - someone mentions a legitimate issue.
Jesus Christ, I never thought it would happen!

From what I know about the BK law, I don't like it, but whatever that bad news is,
is it worse than losing three soldiers a day in Irag, with another 10 soldiers losing body parts?

...but this is ridiculous, & I hope that in your heart, you know it

Let's say you were having a cocktail when you sent this,

... even though I also realize you can't admit it until or unless Hillary loses her front-runner status.

If she loses her front-runner status, I'll continue to support the demo nominee.

Or did Karl Rove hijack the site today?
And then it gets worse --

>>What part of Bush's character was different then than it is now?

> You did not say that.
> In 2002, very few people (besides us) knew that Bush was a lying scumbag and incompetent thief.
> In 2007, everybody knows that Bush is a lying scumbag and incompetent thief.

Let me get this straight ... in 2002 Hillary & the rest of the let's-go-to-war Democrats knew less than
(as you call yourself) a dumb Okie & (as I call myself, though I'm now marooned in Alabama & was
in '02 as well) a dumb Arkie? Surely not. I'm sorry, anyone *that* stupid just doesn't deserve a vote,
& for that matter is so gullible as to be subject to falling under the sway of BFEE members.

I can't believe you want me to re-explain my position again.

Which actually leads me to believe that she & they are *not* that stupid.
But if you can convice us that they are, go for it.

Not that it matters what you say -- I'm gonna keep making my meager monthly donation
(that I wish could be much, much larger) to the site until they pry the last of my money out of my cold, dead fingers.

Yours --
Dan Bailey

Let's just say if you, Dan, ever find yourself in a poker game
where you're betting the lives of a hundred million Americans,
you do it with caution and wisdom and you think long and hard
about "the facts you're certain of" before going all in..
