My Brush with
Greatness:
I spent 5 minutes alone in a basement room with Ronald Reagan.
I was going to just leave it there . . . . but - I was a news photog
(videographer) for my hometown
TV station, and Reagan was making a speaking tour between being
Governor and President.
We got set up in a room downstairs from
the hall he was to speak in, and his assistant took the
reporter off for a minute to get some PR materials or something,
leaving me alone with Ronnie.
For a brief few minutes, I had the fate
of the world in my hands. (maybe don't post that last part).
Keep at 'em. This is going to be one fun year.
I'm sad George (Carlin) won't be around to see it.
