I was so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I only discovered his website a few years ago and it quickly became one of my favorite reads. He had wonderful and irreverent sense of humor. He will be missed.

First I knew, I'm ashamed to say, of Bartcop, was reading of his death in today's Rude Pundit column. I read over a few of Bartcops earlier writings, and found that we are frighteningly similar (except, of course, for age - I'm 75.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy, Mrs. Bart. He seems like a very remarkable person. You must have some great memories to help keep him alive.
I will be honored to help this website continue.

I am dumbstruck.

Bart has finished this dream and is on to the next. He made my current dream less of a nightmare and I will always be grateful for that.

I found out about Bartcop in 1996 via a link from “Steve’s Political Page” and have followed him ever since. This is like losing a big brother, a mentor, a confidant. He swung that hammer high and brought it down hard and now all of us hammer heads must carry on. Keep hammering.
