What's Rove Got to Do With It?

Novak's confirmation that Rove was one of the sources peddling the secret identity of
Valerie Plame raises another troubling question:  Why did Bush bring Rove in on such a
sensitive, discrete secret?   It appears that Bush put his political desire to punish a critic
ahead of his responsibility to protect national security secret

Valerie Plame sues BFEE Bastards
Not frivolous like Paula the Rhino

 "I'll teach those bastards."

Would it be wrong to say Valerie Plame is a hottie?
She reminds me of Cinnamon in the original Mission Impossible.

 Yahoo News

Excerpt:
Valerie Plame sued The Dick and the Rove Monster on Thursday, accusing them
and other White House bastards of conspiring to destroy her career.

"All I got to say is that bitch
better stay out of small planes..."

After bending over backwards to find a way to green light that Paula Jones farce,
the Supreme Whores will likely intervene and say, since we're "at war," the president
can't be bothered by these kinds of "petty lawsuits" and then postpone the action.

Or they could save time and just dismiss the suit for no reason.
They'll do anything to protect that crooked, never-elected usurper.

Subject: Tom Petty's remarks

Unfortunately there is not going to be a "day in hell" for Bush unless we—all of us—take control of our
own destiny by taking back the power that the neofascists have usurped.  And, as far as karma goes,
I haven't seen evidence of any malefactors EVER being punished by bad karma during their lifetimes.

They get away with it and live out their lives in luxury, serenity, and security . Those who say
"he'll have to answer to God for his deeds" are living in a superstitious dream world.
WE must make them pay for their misdeeds.

Dennis Hastert was hospitalized Thursday for a skin infection.

Hastert, 64, was admitted to Bethesda with a bacterial infection.
He will stay over the weekend to receive intravenous antibiotics.
Untreated, it can be life-threatening, so say a prayer.

I'm so old, I remember a time when the Squeaker getting hospitalized was a big story.
But the networks are chasing Bush fuck-ups around the globe - no room for Hastert..

Hi Bart,

I have two female friends who had served in the Army and the Marines respectively and both
told me they had been raped by fellow soldiers. Thought it was an isolated phenomenon and
those two women were just unlucky, but when you printed that recent article about the
widespread sexual assaults on military women in Iraq, it made me start to look into it more.

It's sickening. Thank you for opening my eyes to this.
And thank you for having the best damn website ever.
Been a regular reader since 9/12/01.

Your "Hey France, we don't have Maginot lines in the United States..."
piece had me hooked immediately.

Let's Settle this once and for all

Now that Israel and Lebanon are in yet another religious war it makes me wonder how
we can resolve the "my God is stronger than your God" wars.  All I see is Jews, Muslims,
and Christians all fighting over who God gave property to. Maybe it's time to put it to the test.
Let us have a contest to resolve the issue once and for all as to what God's will is.

We will pick a specific day and on that day every religious person in the world will pray
at the same time for a miracle that will happen in a specific place at a specific time to get
God to reveal who owns the holy lands. God will then create a miracle to indicate the
winner who would then get the holy land for all time.

If God doesn't show up, then the holy land would go to the Atheists.
That would give God some incentive to show up, unless God wants the Atheists to win.

As an Atheist I'd be willing to accept the challenge because I have "faith" that we would win.
So I say to believers, do you have enough faith to accept this challenge? If not - why not?
Let's put the decision in God's hands and put an end to religious wars in the Middle East.

PS. If we Realists win then we'll rename Israel to Is-real.

Subject: my WPE t-shirt

Hey Bart-
I live in an area known for its diversity and social consciousness. Our neighborhood is liberal.
Once a week or so a small plane flies overhead carrying a banner of a picture of an abortion.
This is very insulting to us that believe in freedom of choice.

I like to walk under that banner with my WPE t-shirt on. I am not exaggerating when I say
that I literally get dozens of  thumbs up and high fives and people asking where I got it.

I have not once gotten a bad reaction to this shirt. What does that tell you?
He really is the WORST PRESIDENT EVER!

I love the stickers too….

Malloy reminded me...

I think it was in the summer of 2000...

Clinton had Arafat and whoever the Jewish guy was at Camp David for peace talks.
Press reports (Can't trust those bastards) said that the three were close to a deal
when the BFEE sent word into the camp that both of them would be CRAZY to
accept the Clinton deal because the Bush deal would be tons better (my words).

Arafat eventually rejected the deal that (some say) had everything he asked for,
which could be seen as the BFEE doing everything they could to AVOID PEACE
because, as readers of  bartcop.com  know, the BFEE can't make any money with peace.

Cowards

Someone sent me the link to bootmurtha.com

It's a "swift boat" web site run by a guy named "Larry" who, we must assume,
loves Bush's bloody quagmire and hates anyone who wants fewer dead American troops.

On his opening page, you see this

So I wrote the guy an e-mail that said, swear to Koresh,
word-for-word, nothing more, nothing less...

Are you saying our troops DID NOT kill innocent civilians in cold blood?
Or are you angry with Murtha and Kerry for talking about it?
 bart

...and I got a reply that began:

Bart, before I block you permanently...

My, isn't he brave?
You ask a coward a simple question and he has to run away like a scared little girl.

I guess his "truth" can't handle tough questions like the one I "peppered" him with.

Strange that an Okie with an IQ of 64 can answer ANY question put to him,
but the we-love-Bush's-quagmire "patriots" can't stand the light of day.

No, it's not personal - they're in it for the money.

Just like in 1998, some webmasters know that hating the Clintons is money in the bank.
The sites that attack her constantly are making lots and lots of money.
Somebody show me an anti-Clinton site that's not making money - BIG time.

If you're in it for the cash, it's the smart move.
I suspect it's not all lefty money, either.

Interesting Oswald Graphic

I can't take the time to verify this, but according to this website, the lady who was with
Marina Oswald when the Dallas cops came to search their home was Ruth Hyde paine.

She married into the Forbes family.
Do you know what the "F" in John F. Kerry stands for?

The same chart says Mohammed Atta's dad did business with those BFEE bastards
thru Adnon Khashoggi and Barrick Mining.

It also says Abraham Zapruder had CIA connections.
Funny, the CIA guy had the only film of the murder?

That's damn interesting.

Subject: WPE sticker story

Bart,

I'm not a member (yet), so I realize that you probably won't publish this, but I wanted to let you
know about my recent WPE experience. My family flew to the West Coast for vacation, and I
brought my mandolin which has a WPE sticker on the case, and I was worried about some
wingnut goon working for the TSA hassling me.

I went ahead and brought it along anyway, and, sure enough, as we began our trip in Toledo, the gaze
of a TSA employee fell upon my mandolin case. My initial wave of apprehension was relieved when
the TSA employee looked up at me, flashed me a big smile, and said "how true". I am proud to report
that, over the course of our travels, the sticker elicited dozens of reactions, ALL of them positive.
Keep swingin' that hammer...

Why you must hate Her

WaHoPo via huffingtonpost  (no surprise there)

 Excerpt:
Shelley, a Democrat, is not sure she could ever pull a lever for Clinton.
Her reservations are vague but unmistakable: Something about Clinton leaves her cold.

"I think she's a little hard," she said. "She may be strong, but at the same time, if you're driven
sometimes you're perceived as not having sympathy. And perception is reality for most of us."

There is evidence of unease -- about her personal history, demeanor and motives -- among
the very Democratic and independent voters she would need to win the presidency.

Well sure, just go to DailyKos and you'll see the "facts" just as plain as day.

Subject: support our troops?

Bart,
As an involuntary Viet Nam era military veteran, I understand what Mr.Chiodo, is saying.
It is powerfully written, thought provoking and incredibly true. But on the other hand,
there are many poor kids that volunteer, because it is the one place they may be able
to get an affordable education.  Hopefully not the one mentioned by Mr. Chiodo.

But that no longer applies, right?
We've heard dozens of stories about recruiters lying.
"Sign up now, and I promise you'll never see Iraq," and BOOM!
The gullible bastard gets shipped to Iraq.

I fully understand the education incentive, but you can't get an education when you're dead
and it's hard to get a job when your hands and feet have been blown off.

I am waiting for some Republithug rally or something to wear my WPE shirt.  I want it to have
an impact when I wear it.  I actually hate t's but will force myself when the time is right.

Keep up the good work, without Bartcop, I don't know what I would do.

What has the GOP ever done for the working class?

"Liberals dragged you into the 20th century scratching and screaming with your heels in the mud,
fighting anything that's progressive, everything that's made this country great. You Republicans

Democrats and unions, is what really made this country great. You really believe "The Good Life"

all of us and our country."

Subject: disappointed

bart,
I've been reading foir years but I'm a little disappointed lately.
Where are all the stories about fresh Bixby corn?

I'm a pillar you don't want to lose me.
 Mark

Dude, funny you should ask.

We finally got some rain, and the latest corn has been hueueueuge.
Ladies know - when it come to fresh Bixby corn, bigger is better.

Sidebar:
I heard some talk on AAR about some RED CORN!
Christ, I was coming back from Bixby and I almost drove off the damn road.
Who can tell me about real fresh RED CORN and where do I have to go to get some?

Back to my corn story - last night was somewhat of a milestone.
We had some monster "Precious Gem" bi-colored corn that totally f-ing rocked.
This wadn't no Sears corn, this was totally f-ing Bixby fresh rocking corn.

It was as good as corn gets (and that's reeeeeeeeeeal good) but then afterwards
I looked down ...and noticed ...that Sonny was still alive.

Can you believe that?

How many years have you been reading my stories about eating fresh Bixby corn on the cob?
How many times has Sonny died on the causeway ...just so Ol' Bart could satisfy his corn lust?
How many years have you wished I'd stop talking about fresh Bixby corn?
...but last night, Sonny was not murdered on the causeway.

Because years ago, before most people had the Internets,  Salon.com tried to get cute

The Who to tour

 Yahoo News

 Excerpt:
It's been almost 25 years since the Who blasted their way through a major concert tour.

(I guess they're not counting their last major tour, when Entwhistle OD'd on cocaine
after living the rock lifestyle with a couple of Vegas hookers at the Hard Rock.)

This fall, they'll give it another go, Townshend and Daltrey announced Thursday.
Opening date will be Sept. 12 in Philadelphia.

The legendary band will then wind its way through the U.S. and Canada before jumping
next year to South America, the Far East, Australia and Europe. North American destinations
include New York, Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Seattle, Portland, Ore., Vancouver and Toronto.

Subject: 50 Questions

Bart,

My experience is that simply asking Dubya supporters to name TWO GOOD THINGS
Dubya's accomplished in the past 5-1/2 years is sufficient to shut them down.
They can't do it!

Sometimes they say "Immigration" and I simply ask what he has ALREADY
accomplished re immigration... and they don't have an answer.

Then, as the icing on the cake, I ask if they can explain why Dubya invaded Iraq
-- and they walk away...  LOL
