McCain's shoulder as he says, "I will appoint judges that strictly interpret the constitution
of the United States of America and do not legislate from the bench." (That's code for
McCain appointing anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-civil rights far-right activist judges.)

So, who is looking over McCain's shoulder as he calls for right-wing judges? Kissyface.
Now, we all know that Lieberman loves the Iraq war and wants another war in Iran.
Whatever. But Kissyface still wants the press, and the public, to believe that he's a
"moderate Democrat." Well, moderate Democrats don't support having arch-conservative
judges on the court who will overturn Roe v. Wade and oppose civil rights and civil liberties.
For Lieberman to stand idly by while McCain uses his name to push for the overturning of
such rights would be unconscionable in a moderate Republican, let alone a moderate Democrat.
 

Shame on Connecticut for saddling Democrats with that right-wing Kissyface.

Subject: Obama's bad choice for Foreign Policy Advisor

Hi Bart,

I supported Hillary until she made some off the wall comment about Vladimir Putin
... then I wrote you an Email and said that I wasn't going to support her anymore.
I've since read a lot of commentary about this remark she made and I have come to
the conclusion that it was taken out of context how it was reported and she was merely
blathering for some kind of crowd where those kind of remarks go down well.
So, after giving careful consideration to this I am going today to vote here in Moscow
for her as the Democratic candidate.

I have to also say that I have been looking at Obama's choice of Zbigniew Brzezinski
to probably be his foreign policy "overseer".  This is the worst possible decision that the
young man from Illinois could ever make.  Brzezinski is one of the most evil men on the
planet right up there with Kissinger and other very unlikable villians of our recent past.
I can't stress enough how inherently evil Brzezinski is so I will never support Obama,
although other things about him are appealing.

I will support Hillary's campaign here among the Ex pat community in Moscow.
That's all for now my main man and keep swinging that big hammer of yours.

One of them would tell a lie about Hillary, or make some horseshit prediction
and then the other three would high-five each other and giggle and cackle with glee
like they do when they'll telling big Clinton lies on FOX.  It made me want to vomit.

I'm so old, I remember when we ALL used to complain how the media was
all-Fascist all the time. It still is, but the Fascists hate Hillary so they flood the
airwaves with vicious and untrue racial slurs in an attempt to defeat her.

Nothing has changed.

This We-love-Obama ploy is just the whore media's latest attempt to stop the Democrats.
Wish I wasn't the only guy who saw thru this charade.

Note: I'm not saying AAR is Fascist, they just love Obama so much that they're willing
to entertain and re-examine and re-tell every slur or false story that is hurled at the Clintons
while constantly explaining that they're actually not committed to any candidate - PLEASE!.

Billy, I don't have a link - I saw/heard it myself.

She was on CNN and she was fuming, saying things like,
"Bill Clinton should be ashamed, playing the race card like that."
The fact that it never happened seems lost on her.
Plus, she never said what Bill's "crime" was, she didn't need to
because we all know how those Clintons are.

You don't get on worldwide TV and slur your president that way.

Bart, I really think the reason that the Clintons are attacked is because they are winners.

Thanks Bart.  I just about cried when I found out you were giving me
2 months of BCR.  You are too kind, and very generous, and I am  grateful.

Every year that goes by, I get a bit more discouraged, because the Democratic
Party never ever learns.  The Democratic Leadership has  not only failed us,
but I would go so far as to say they betrayed us.

I'm so old I remember when the Dems were strong.

They pee submissively for the worst president ever, the guy who wrecked the country,
but they PISS ON We the People.  They've pissed  all over Bill Clinton, the only guy
who has won an election for them  since the early 80s, and they've pissed all over the
Democratic grassroots opposition groups that have arisen (like MoveOn) -- any of
the people who could actually make a difference for Americans.

That's why my election year money is going to you.  You have worked so hard so long,
publishing nearly every day -- I appreciate how  tough that is.  I haven't kept a scorecard,
but you get it spot on  most of the time, unlike our political leaders and the media.
Any more I attribute it to your poker playing.  Chess is purely cerebral, whereas poker
not only requires thinking and strategy, but good knowledge of psychology and figuring
what the other guy is thinking.   Your brain is hard-wired to be a winning political strategist.

If only, Bart, if only.

I'll do my part to stop the Republicans this Summer and Fall, but when I do door to door
canvassing like I did 2000, 2004 & 2008, I'm  going to Talk Bart to these folks.
Bart Talking Points.  I read  every day (since 1999), but now I'm taking notes and writing scripts.

Colin Powell presented the case against Iraq to the UN Security Council five years ago today.
As much criticism as Powell has received for this - he calls it "painful" and something that will
"always be a part of my record" - it hasn't been close to what's justified. Powell was far more
than just horribly mistaken: the evidence is conclusive that he fabricated evidence and ignored
repeated warnings that what he was saying was false.

Unfortunately, Congress has never investigated Powell's use of the intelligence he was given.
Even so, what's already in the public record is extremely damning. So while the corporate media
has never taken a close look at this, anyone can go through Powell's presentation line by line
to examine the chasm between what he knew, and what he told the world. As you see below,
there's quite a lot to say about it.
 

I'd like to thank MotherJones.com for taking a few minutes out of their "Elect Obama" mission
to shine a little light on the lies of the blood-thirsty bastards who killed 4,000 US soldiers
so they could steal all the oil in Iraq.

If Iraq was sucked dry of all their oil today,
is there any doubt all the troops would be home by election day?

Subject: truce

What's with all the "unity" talk by Clinton Democrats? 
You don't hear as much of that sort of talk from the Obama camp. 

It's almost as if one camp KNOWS that their candidate is acceptable enough 
to rally Democrats of all stripes while the OTHER camp isn't quite sure if they 
can count on the votes of the Democrats they are supposed to inspire.
That is clearly not a good sign.

"I can get more of her votes than she can of mine."

It sounded like radical defeatism, to me.
They seem proud to let Mccain have it, instead of Hillary.

I thought Obama was the Great Healer...

Bart, it's just like when you go to the car dealership. You've done all of your research, 
and you know that the road tested sedan is the perfect car for your family, but the salesman 
(media) is hell bent on talking you into the sleek new sporty model. 

Forget about how you would pay for it, what the insurance will cost, or where you will 
put the baby's carseat...you just want it because it feels good and makes you look good. 
If our party is in it for the long haul, we really should stick with the sedan. 
Keep swinging the hammer bart!
