Obama makes it happen
I thought it was a pretty good speech.
For one thing, he may have heard my request that he stop speaking in
gobbledegook.
As he closed, he mentioned "the hope that we
confess" whatever the hell that means,
but most of the speech was NOT crazy, empty phrases and I enjoyed that
quite a bit.
He talked to us like adults, not like kids attending their first rally.
...and yes, he did fill the stadium.

Sarah Palin under investigation

In Dayton, OH today, Sen. Old Man River announced
that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be his running mate.
Palin, who entered office in 2006 after running
as a reformer, is touted by conservatives as being "a politician
of eye-popping integrity."
But Palin's reformer image took a hit last month
when she was accused of attempting to get a state trooper fired.
That state trooper was her former brother-in-law
who had gone through "a messy divorce" with her sister.
After the trooper's boss wouldn't act on the
governor's request, she fired him. Though Palin says she doesn't
"have anything to hide" and she "didn't do anything
wrong there," an investigation has found that one of her
aides pushed the firing:

If you're with Comcast, I say quit TODAY.
Let them know you don't want to be told how long
and how often you're going to be on the net.

more money be denying you service.
If they get away with it, you know the other
greedy-ass telecoms will limit you and
then price increases come after that.
