Bush bastards steal $5 trillion
Freddie and Fannie a shell game for their crimes

You don't even need the details.
If the Bush bastards were involved, that money was flat-out stolen.

That's why crooked oil men get into government - to bleed taxpayers dry.
Since they belong to the "regulations are bad" party, they can rob the S&Ls
and they can rob Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and, while they're at it,
might as well bleed the Pentagon dry as well as Social Security and Medicare.
Oh, and Bear Stearns needed a few billion, too.

This way, Bush can say, "I don't have a magioc wand." even tho the Bush bastards
were able to make all those trillions of dollars disappear into their own pockets.

Reminder: The Iraq war is off the books.
They could be spending 3 billion dollars a day on Bush's never-ending war
and we wouldn't know it "because it's our job to go about our business."

The Bush bastards are draining the country dry - and they want more.
By controlling the price of oil, they can Enron every country on Earth.

 Subject: Olbermann

You are so right on this.

I used to love the comments made by Olbermann, but the truth is,
they are just like the Fox network, they are just on a different side.
Do we really want that kind of non-objective news?

Some think we need it to balance out the right-wing rhetoric we hear constantly, but they are
just going too far.  I was made aware of how much I hate this kind of talk during the democratic
primaries, when all things Obama were great, and all things Clinton were EVIL!!!

No objectivity at all.
Thanks for the work that you do.

Sarah Palin - Crazy times Nine

1. Despite problems at home, Sarah Palin does not believe in giving teenagers information about sex.

2. Sarah Palin believes the U.S. Army is on a mission from God.

3. Sarah Palin believes you should have your rapist's baby.

You'd think #3, all by itself, would be enough.
If Sarah Palin has her way, any doctor that helped you abort that rapist's baby could go to jail.

Subject: Nancy and Donna - where are you?!

Dear Bart:

Is it me or did Nancy Pelosi and Donna Brazile spend more time telling everyone on TV
what a horror Hillary Clinton was than they are currently attacking John McCain?

I mean, honestly, have the people who where all over place declaring Hilary Clinton to be
the most vile of of the vile seem to have disappeared now that Obama is lagging in the polls?

Where is Donna to declare McCain/Palin to be horribly racist?
Where is Nancy to insist there will be no McCain White House like she was
happy to declare that their will be no Obama/Clinton dream ticket?
Seriously, am I seeing this right?

-Joe D

Joe, yes you are.

Democrats still see Hillary as the enemy.
Have you ever heard Brazille or Randi or Big Eddie go after a Republican
with the zeal and the hatred like they went after Hillary?
The answer is no.

They dislike Republicans but they f-ing hate the Clintons.
They don't mind if McCain wins - as long as the Clintons lose.

That attitude might cost us this election.

McCain, Palin criticize Obama on earmarks
When is Obama going to start fighting?        Sept 15?       Oct 1?

John McCain and Sarah Palin criticized Barack Obama over the amount of money he has requested
for his home state of Illinois, even though Alaska under Palin's leadership has asked Washington for
10 times more money per citizen for pet projects.

Hmmm,. maybe we could ask Obama to point that out?
Any chance we could get him to list the facts?

At a rally in Missouri, the old goat and his pig with lipstick accused Obama of requesting nearly $1 billion
in earmarks for his state during his time as a senator. The new line of attack came after Obama made his
first direct criticism of Palin over the weekend, using the topic of earmarks, which are special projects
that lawmakers try to get for their districts and constituents.

"Just the other day our opponent brought up earmarks - and frankly I was surprised that he would
even raise the subject at all," Palin said. "I thought he wouldn't want to go there."

Is Obama expecting the media to fight for him like they did in the primaries?

When is he going to take some steps to start to get some traction?
He's fighting the echo of the Worst President Ever - and he's behind?

Are you happy with the campaign Obama is (kinda) running?
If you are, and you think Obama can still win, tell me how and why.

Subject: If Palin can't take the heat...

I'm getting tired of the unknown Alaska governor whining about the news media.
We don't know who she is and she's running for the nation's second highest office.
And since she is running on family related issues, asking family related questions are fair game.

For example, if Obama had 5 kids including a special needs newborn and a pregnant teen
daughter that would be an issue for him too. Palin also opposes contraception, opposes
abortion without exception for rape or incest, and advocate abstinence only sex education,
so it's fair to see how those positions are playing out in her life. And why is she running
for VP when her children need her now?

Palin also claims she sold the state jet on eBay at a profit when in fact she sold the state jet
to a contributor at a loss. She claims she saved the US taxpayers money by opposing the
"Bridge to Nowhere" but the reality is that she took the money and didn't build the bridge.
So the taxpayers paid for the bridge to nowhere, but didn't even get that.

The voters have a right to know who she is and the media has the right to ask that hard questions.
If she really is a pit bull then why is she hiding behind John McCain's skirt?

I don't care if she can kill a moose.
What I care about is if she tough enough to handle a press conference.
If she is so tough then why is she afraid to come out into the light of day and take
the tough questions that every candidate has to answer?

FOX Attacks Obama Like Kerry

Jake gets it together

 Subject: Olbermann Replaced

Bart, I don't agree with your assessment as to why Keith got bumped...
I think Glenn Grenwald analyzed it well here: (it's long, sorry, dude)

The right dictates MSNBC's programming decisions
by Gl;enn Greenwald, a good man who's aiming at the wrong target

This episode demonstrates what Eric Alterman documented several years ago: that the greatest and most
transparent myth in American politics is that the U.S. has a "liberal media." That is a myth that is maintained,
first and foremost, by defining anyone who isn't Rush Limbaugh as a "liberal." Hence, people such as the wife
of Bush official Dan Senor (Campbell Brown) is a "liberal," as is Alan Greenspan's wife (Andrea Mitchell),
along with establishment-worshipers such as Rush-Limbaugh-admirer Brian Williams, right-wing-talking-points
-spouting Charlie Gibson, and anyone who writes for the war-enabling New York Times and Washington Post.

If I read him correctly, he's saying Olbermann and Matthews did not go too far.
As someone who WAS in the camp that was being lied about, I saw this clearer than Lake Concha.

But I get that, if you're a big Obama fan, Keith was just "telling the truth."

Hillary is a cold, conniving dyke (sp?) bitch with dreams of taking over and she will stomp anyone
who gets in her way of grabbing more power - I mean, everybody knows that true, ...right?

But think what it must be like - in the middle of America's "Everyone's a whore" press age,
to be singled out as too partisan to be allowed to cover live political stories.

Christ, ...and Donna Brazile and Peggy Noonan still get work?

I'm reminded of Steve Adler, original Guns n Roses drummer who got thrown out for doing too many drugs.
Repeat: Steve Adler got thrown out of Guns n Roses for doing too many drugs.

Rush getting fired by ESPN for being a racist prick, thank Koresh, IS more embarassing.

And before you, the reader, write a really snark e-mail that naive Ol' Bart doesn't know that our whore media
is owned and controlled by rich, white Republican bastards, I'll have you know that at least one web page says
the phrase "media whores" was first used right here at

Should the pair have been demoted?
Probably not, but they were out-of-bounds.

TV whoredom is a billion dollar business.
Why didn't a friendly voice tell them to get real?
Why didn't someone tell those two to stop the horseshit?

Dumb All Over

Did Jon Stewart get Keefe & Tweety demoted?

All the drama made MSNBC a punch line when top NBC anchor Brian Williams
appeared on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" last week. "Is there no control?"
Stewart asked him. "`Is it `Lord of the Flies?'"

A sheepish Williams said that every family has a dynamic of its own.

"But does MSNBC have to be the Lohans?" Stewart asked.

Reminder: *I* didn't say Keefe and Tweety were the Lohans, Jon Stewart said that.

Reminder: CNN dropped "Crossfire" after Jon Stewart ridiculed that show.

 Subject: time to give up

I hate to say it, but with their current slight lead, and another Bin Laden video near the election
(you know it's coming),  for the third time in a row, the Republicans will take the gold.  It is time
for us all to admit that we live in a nation of complete idiots.  We will never evolve as a nation.
Our general prosperity will never translate into the creation of a better society.  We will continue
to be outpaced by much of the western world in terms of crime, health care, education, and inclusion.

It's too bad, Every four years I allow myself to hope that we're better than that, that we're not ruled
by fear and ancient myths.  We come close.  I thought this was the year.  I really did.  We have a
brilliant dynamo in front for the first time, and their guy's a complete dud.  So, all they have to do is
trot out ma kettle with her homespun gun-totin, jesusey bullshit, and it's game over.  If that's all it
takes to win votes, then we should just stop trying.

SO what's left?  We should focus on making democrats a true opposition party, that shouts and
gets pissed and proposes crazy shit like a solar panels the size of 400 football fields, and free college,
health care for all, and legal pot by the pound.  really shake things up, while gramps and vice-president
trannie poke around the whitehouse, doing basically nothing.

Mike, we haven't lost anything yet.
There's always a chance Obama will join the fight.

All I ever wanted was someone who'd fight back.

Subject: Keefe & Tweety

Bart, once again, you hit the nail squarely when you said:

> Hell, we might've had a different nominee if MSNBC had done this earlier.

I couldn't agree more.  I admit, I watch Olbermann (no doubt, too much),
but during the primaries he absolutely nauseated me with his incessant fawning over BO,
and his constant ragging on Hillary to where I just had to shut it off.

I love it when he (KO) points out the endless shit coming from Bush Co.  That is news.
It's documented, clear cut trashing of the constitution, civil rights and all that.
That's what I want to hear is evidence for getting the Bush bastards.
But instead, we get constant OPINION.

Hammer on, my friend.
 Grego in Colo

Not only did we get opinion, we got mind reading.

Olbermann and Bob Perry and Randi and Big Eddie and others learned
to read Hillary's mind so they could slur her with thoughts she had.

 Subject: Obama disaster?

Bart, I keep hoping, but I can't help but read the writing on the wall.
Obama keeps doing stuff that has disaster written all over it.

I know a number of people who have turned their backs on him because of the
FISA vote and others because they think he's not attacking McCain like he should.

I find it interesting that Kerry was not bulletproof because of his Vietnam era service,
but McCain seems to be.

 Subject: Obama disaster?

Hey again Bart -- just another random thought wandering the empty hallways of my mind:
Every time I hear Obama say "the American people aren't stupid", I just cringe.
Yes, Barack, they are VERY STUPID!!!!

Not only are they stupid, they don't really like smart people.
You can't speak to them using subtle nuances, you have to clobber them
over the head with monosyllabic sound bites!!
Oy vey......

We're even ...or even behind - now what?

It looks like we're going to need some luck to win this election.
McCain is winning what's left of the undecided vote.

One thing Obama could do is debate John McCain like a man.
If Obama agrees to those debate rules that prevent the candidates from asking
direct questions, then he will lose the debates and he'll lose in November and
we'll have no choice but to start building for 2012.

McCain could ask questions like: "John, why do you keep lying about my tax plan?
You tell people I'm raising taxes on the middle class and you know that's not true."

Will Obama agree to be handcuffed and gagged for the debate?
Or will he insist that they debate like men instead of mice?

Random thought...

Sarah Palin was governor of Alaska from January 07 to the present.

Alaska is an oil exporting state, and under Bush, oil prices went to record highs.
So she governed Alaska for 17 months - with a surplus of good times.

Tweety is not in the tank for Obama. I guess you weren't watching Nazi Con 2008.  Tweety gets
very excited talking about his older than dirt maverick (the same way he creamed himself over Rudy).
It is utterly disgusting the way he bends over for the right wing agenda. Somebody has to stick up for
the side of reason. And yes, Olbermann is biased about Obama . At least someone is, as the rest of
the media is too spewing this "John McCain: war hero and maverick" bullshit.
Finally, shame on you for getting it wrong, AGAIN!

You can call me all the names you want, but NBC clearly stated their reasons
for demoting them and "You're too nice to McCain" wasn't among them.

If they're lying, why write to me?

Bush makes a claim

President Bush will keep roughly the same number of U.S. forces in Iraq through the end of the year
and pull about 8,000 troops home by February, a drawdown that's both slower and smaller than long anticipated.

In a speech to be delivered Tuesday, Bush says more forces could withdraw in the first half of 2009.
But for now, the situation isn't changing significantly.

By the time the troops return home on the timeline Bush is proposing,
someone else will be making the wartime decisions from the Oval Office.

Palin & Muslims

McCain announced that he was running for president to confront the "transcendent challenge"
of the 21st century, "radical Islamic extremism," contrasting it with "stability, tolerance and democracy."
But the values of his handpicked running mate, Sarah Palin, more resemble those of Muslim fundamentalists
than they do those of the Founding Fathers. On censorship, the teaching of creationism in schools,
reproductive rights, attributing government policy to God's will and climate change, Palin agrees
with Hamas and Saudi Arabia rather than supporting tolerance and democratic precepts.
What is the difference between Palin and a Muslim fundamentalist? Lipstick.

Would a Muslim force you to have your rapist's baby?

Iraq pumped 3.5M  barrels daily before Bush invaded
and then they got their big Halliburton upgrades

Bush is stealing up to 6 million barrels of oil per day.
Since oil sells for $125 or more per barrel,
Bush is stealing $750,000,000 every day.

No wonder they were so eager to start a war,
It's the biggest theft in Earth's history but our
whore media is too busy investigating
if Britney wore panties today.

4,155 brave men and women are gone.

All because of Bush's oil greed

Why are we there?
Because Iraq's oil wells have NO METERS!

Where's all that oil money going?

Subject: Donation

I wanted to donate for a long time, and I wanted to wait until I had a spare $100 since I didn't think
a small $5 donation would be of any help to you.  So time went by, and I never had a spare $100,
so I didn't donate.

But you started running the new donation requests with the statement that even $5 or $10 or $25 would help,
and I realized that I could send the odd $5 now and then.  See, you let me know that even $5 is a help, so I
knew then that I could do something useful.  I bet there are others in my position who are waiting until they
have a big amount to donate (and donating nothing in the meantime) who will donate a small amount
because you let us know that would help.  I think that was a very good message to get out to people.

Shirley stars in FOX's Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles -

spear and ran it thru the dude's brain - You better be nice to Shirley...
