Post bin laden America
  by Marc Ash

  Link

  Excerpt:
"America after bin Laden is sadly an America more in line with bin Laden's own ideological perspective.
We are a more intolerant, more repressive and socially restrictive society than we ever had been before bin Laden.
Many of the most draconian new social measures have come at the hands of those who postured themselves
as bin Laden's
most ardent foes, and 'freedom's' staunchest defenders. If the object was to, 'defeat bin Laden,
not become him,' clearly from a standpoint of social justice in America, we have failed."

Of course, the Bush bastards are to blase - for everything.

Bush the Smarter hired and trained bin Laden.
Then he told the Saudies that Saddam was coming for them (no evidence of that) so the Saudis
allowed pig-footed Americans to deploy there, which outraged the Bush employee, Osama.

That begat 9-11 (US media's not allowed to mention that) and that begat Bush the Dumber's two wars.
That begat the military build-up on the credit card and the co-inciding tax cuts and deregulation which
begat you losing your home and your job and your life savings.

It's ALL on the Bush bastards, but you wouldn't know it by watching the news.

Quotes

"Obama is one of the most ineffective presidents I've ever seen. Obama wasn't
responsible for the recession he inherited, but he made things worse. He's failed."

-- Romney, trying to get his name in the press,    Link

So, Obama "failed" because he can't fix Bush's disasters fast enough?

If Obama is a failure, what grade would you give the handjob who inherited a surplus and
left Obama with the biggest deficits in American history, not to mention two failed wars.

More trouble for Gadaffy
He's truly having a bad week

  Link

 Excerpt:
Eight high-ranking Libyan army officers appeared in Rome on Monday saying they were part of a group of
as many as 120 military officials and soldiers who had defected from Muammar Gaddafi's side in recent days.

The eight officers -- five generals, two colonels and a major -- spoke at a hastily-called news conference
organised by the Italian government, which is one of a handful of countries that has recognized the Libyan
rebel movement fighting Gaddafi as the legitimate representative of the Libyan people.

"What is happening to our people has frightened us," said one officer, General Oun Ali Oun.

I give Obama credit for this, behind the scenes at the G-8.

Once those generals say Russia was pulling their support,
the "atrocities" they were seeing suddenly seem a lot worse.

The generals who are left can either defect and maybe get a check
or get up-close-and-personal with a laser-guided NATO bomb.

Subject: Mike Malloy

Bartcop,

Shortly before Sept. 11, 2001, I had gotten my first computer and was exploring this relatively
new thing called The World Wide Web. After 9/11, I'll never forget Cheney saying in an interview,
"Who cares why they attacked us".

That upset me so much that after years of not following politics, I went on a search to find answers
with my computer. In the process I found Mike Malloy there who was not only a breath of fresh air
aka truth, he also could make me laugh at a time I really needed to. One night on his radio show he said
reading your Bartcop.com was a must. So I did and I've been checking you out ever since.

BTW: I agree with what some other readers have been saying,
I don't agree with you 100% of the time, and I don't need to.
I do agree with you 90 - 95% of the time which is pretty amazing if you ask me.
 CY

We also agree that Mike is the best!

Catholics raping everything that moves
They got caught shopping for a 14 year old

  Link

 Excerpt:
The latest sex-abuse case to rock the Catholic Church is unfolding in the archdiocese of an influential
Italian Cardinal who has been working with Bennt the Rat on reforms to respond to pedophile priests.

Father Riccardo Seppia, a 51-year-old parish priest in the village of Sastri Ponente, near Genoa, was
arrested May 13, on pedophilia and drug charges. Investigators say that in tapped phone conversations,
Seppia asked a Moroccan drug dealer to arrange sexual encounters with young and vulnerable boys.

"I do not want 16-year-old boys but younger. Fourteen-year-olds are O.K.
  Look for needy boys
who have family issues," he allegedly said.

He alledgedly said?

They tapped his phone.

When will the Catholics stop raping every defenseless child they find?

Yosemite's Spectacular Waterfalls
 Record snowmelt creats rare wonder

 Link

"Breathtaking, that's what it is," said Lynne Bousie of Scotland, who stopped to pose for a photograph
at the spot where the paved trail to Yosemite Falls makes a turn and the first full view of its entire
2,425-foot drop comes into view.

Water cascading from the many signature falls that cut across Yosemite's granite walls (as well as countless
unnamed ones that spout only in peak years like this) is swelling the Merced River. For the next few months
the roar of violently churning water will drown out all other background noise in the park.

"Some falls that you can see now don't have names and aren't even on the map," said a park spokeswoman.

I have a question: Why did God decide to kill 125 innocent people?

Subject: GOP candidates

Hi, Bart,

I have been looking over the present, and possible future candidates for the Republican party,
and have decided that, at this time, I am just as qualified to run as they are. Therefore today I am
announcing the possibility of forming a committee to study the possibility of forming an exploratory
group to see if there is any possibility of making any sort of money off the GOP.

Hey, I am here to help.

Subject: Ed Schultz's suspension

Hi Bart!

I have to say, that even though I am a women, and very cognizant of women's issues
and the lack of respect that women face all the time, I have to say I totally agreed with
Big Eddy, and was not insulted at all about what he said about Laura Ingraham.

I myself use stronger language about her. Her and Ann Coulter are female impersonators, imho.
However, I do have to admit that I was infuriated at Chris Matthews calling Hillary a bitch.

So I guess it does depend on how I feel about the person being talked about.
My two pentacles,
 Janet

Janet, thanks for that.

I didn't know Laura Ingraham was big enough to make anybody angry.

Hey Bart, this is my cat Jeremiah who really is as big as a small dog (hence his song, Jeremiah is a catdog).
He is almost 12 and, since you are a cat owner you might appreciate this, he is AWC at the vets.
That means "approach with caution". (His file also says "will attack"). He's tall and has sharp teeth and claws.
But he has travelled from Maryland to Norman, OK (where I found your site as a sane voice in
a very weird  landscape call ooooooooooooooooooooooooklahoma) and finally ended up

in a good place for ducks and cats, Eugene oregon.

Jeremiah saved my life more than once, esp. in Norman. He just doesn't like being caged.
keep up the good work, love the little games as well, and I hope you get a few more people
who just found five bucks in their other pants pocket and are sending it to you as we speak.

Bart, that's Walter Ulbricht on the right and Alexander Dubcek on the left.

Would guess the big guy behind Dubcek is no doubt muscle from the KGB

leader from 68 to 69 and later the Chairman of Federal Czecho Slovak Parliament.

Ulbricht was with the Socialist Unity Party from 1950 to 1971 (East German Govt
