Republican US Senator Scott Brown portrayed himself as an independent voter and thinker
in Washington, while his Democratic challenger, Elizabeth Warren, charged that he had voted
“in lockstep” over and over with Republicans, as the two clashed in a debate last night.
“I have a history of working across the aisle,” Brown lied. “I take great pride in that independence.”
But Warren said Brown’s attempt to portray himself as a bipartisan moderate was at odds with
what he says when raising funds around the country, charging that he tells contributors that his
victory would increase “the odds that Republicans will control the Senate” and make it possible
to “block Obama’s agenda,” if he were to win a second term.
“He stands with the millionaires. He’s stands with the billionaires.
He’s not there for people who are out of work,” Warren replied.
They say 18 percent of Massachusetts STILL can't decide between these two.

Todd Akin slinging lies in Missouri
GOP once again behind the woman-hater

Todd "Legitimate rape" Akin went on the offensive against Sen. Claire McCaskill in Missouri's
Senate race on Monday, claiming that her husband's businesses profited from a federal stimulus
act provision that helped finance low-income housing.
"She went through it line by line, and a million dollars went to her family business," Akin lied.
McCaskill's husband, Joseph Shepard, had only a small ownership stake and received just several
thousand dollars from the companies at issue, her campaign said. The stimulus bill did not direct
any money to Shepard's companies, but rather allotted $2 billion to a HUD program, which
distributed it among more than 6,000 contractors who ran subsidized housing units.
A quick search showed no mention of something Rachel talked about last night.
She said Todd was caught on tape saying it's OK to paying women less than men.
Wouldn't it follow that Blacks should earn even less?
And Mexicans even less than Blacks?
And what should Puerto Ricans get paid, Todd?
Isn't Todd Akin right out of Blazing Saddles?

Romney pleaded with his faithful. "There's going to be all the scoring of winning
and losing and, you know, in my view, it's not so much winning and losing or even
the people themselves, the president and myself, it's about something bigger than that."
"These debates are an opportunity for each of us to describe the pathway forward for
America that we would choose and the American people are going to have to make
their choice as to what kind of America they'd want," Romney continued.
In his final public rally before Wednesday's debate, Thurston said he was "delighted" for
the chance to have Obama kick his ass on a live, national stage—especially in Colorado.

I'm serious, but I admit this idea just came to me.
We're leaving in late 2014, right?
Let's tell them right now:
Stop the bombings and the green on blue attacks and turn in the Taliban.
And if you don't?
We'll send 20,000 747's in and take your young women to the United States.
You want to spend the rest of your life screwing goats?
Just keep fucking with us and see what price you'll pay.
If we leave, the Taliban is, first thing, going to start cutting girls' noses off
and we're not going to let that happen.
Either they chill or we take their women.
Plus, it wouldn't be a kidnapping.
Granted, I know Bush about Afghan culture, but every girl over there knows what
the worse-than-Republicans "conservatives" are like, so if we offered them flights to
America and a fresh new start centuries into the future, wouldn't they go along?
Remember that girl from the cover of TIME?
She looks like this now, and I'll bet she's happy.
As barbaric as it sounds, even putting these young girls up as "mail order brides"
would have to be light-years better than whatever no-future life they have now.

America is a sitting duck for an unnamed foreign invader.
Perot said the nation's weak economy has left us open for a hostile
takeover—and neither
presidential candidate is the man to save the country.
Citing an impending fiscal cliff, Perot warned of disaster. "If
we are that weak,
just think of who wants to come here first and take us over,"

Subject: Dead people are registering Republican in Florida
The Democrats are trying to make a big deal over Republicans registering dead people
to vote in Florida. Of course Republicans are going to get the dead registered as Republicans
because they know that dead people are more likely to support Republicans than Democrats.
Dead people don't need Social Security, Medicare, or Medicaid, They don't need housing,
medical care, food or gasoline. Dead people don't care about birth control coverage on their
insurance or lifetime caps on coverage. It doesn't matter if they lose their home mortgage
deduction. But Republicans are more in favor of lowering the death tax which Republicans
believe the dead would favor, if they weren't dead.
So if Democrats are going to criticize Republicans for trying to turn out their base the Republicans
should criticize Democrats for pandering to live people. If Democrats stop Republicans from
registering dead people then aren't Democrats the ones engaging in voter suppression?
