Secession petitions filed in 20 states
Fine - Leave - Go back to the Fifties

In the wake Obama kicking Thurston's ass, thousands of dittohead Americans have signed petitions
seeking permission for their states to peacefully secede from the United States. The petitions were
filed on We the People, a government website.

Instead of asking permission, why not move to a better country?
Iran, for instance, mixes government and religion so maybe try there, first.

States with citizens filing include Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky,
Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota,
Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Oddly, folks from Georgia have filed twice.

Not so odd - they can't read in Georgia so they forgot they already filed.

Even stranger, several of the petitions come from states that went for Obama.

That's a very, very stupid thing to say - as if everyone in the state felt the same.
Did someone from Georgia write this story?

The petitions are as dumb as you might guess.
For example, a petition from the Volunteer State reads: "Peacefully grant the State of Tennessee
to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government."

Why are you begging for permission, like a bitch?
Why not get up and f-ing leave and show the world how you feel?

Move the fuck away and take FOX News and talk radio with you.
If you do, America's IQ will go up 40 points.

Of all the petitions, Texas has the most signatures so far, with more than 23,000.

Fine - invade Mexico and move Tejas south 200 miles - we'll do OK without you.

Just go away and don't ask to come back when the hurricane hits.

84,000 without power in NY, NJ

The Long Island Power Authority expects to restore service on Tuesday to most of its
New York customers able to receive electricity, but more than 84,000 homes and businesses
in New York and New Jersey will stay dark due to flood damage from Hurricane Sandy.

LIPA, the power company, said it should hook up almost all of the remaining 15,000 customers
that still lack service on Tuesday morning, more than two weeks after Sandy battered the region.
But that number excludes customers within the flooded areas of Long Island that have yet to be
surveyed for damage or may need repairs and certification by an electrician before the company
can restore service, LIPA said.

I'm just glad the election is over.

That's all Obama needed - weeks of New Yorkers screaming on FOX News,
"President Obama doesn't care about White people."

Subject: Petraeus Affair - Boring - not New
We just had a big election and we have the looming issues of the fiscal cliff, creating jobs,
immigration reform, an the Republican civil war. But what is the news media obsessed with?
They can't stop talking about a sex scandal.

It's like oh my God!
A powerful 60+ year old man cheats on his wife with with a pretty woman in her 30s.
Maybe someone should explain "the birds and the bees" to the news media.

Why is this news?
They did their investigation. Nothing happened that affected national security.
No laws were broken. The reason the President and Senator Feinstein weren't informed
is because there was nothing to tell. This was even leaked to Republican leaders before
the election and it was so uninteresting that the Republicans didn't use it.

So please - stop it. I say to the news media - grow up!
There's news out there to report. Do your jobs.

Nice Losers
by Thomas Sowell, the whitest Black man in America

"Buy my book, "White Like Me!"
  available at"

Mitt Romney now joins the long list of the kinds of presidential candidates favored by the GOP
-- nice, moderate losers, people with no coherently articulated vision, despite how many ad hoc talking points they may have.

Hey, Bunghole, you knew EXACTLY what you were getting.
YOU let him steal the nomination from whichever religiously-insane nutjob you preferred.
You knew he was a northeastern-lib, gay-loving, gun-grabbing, health-care-giving socialist.
He ran for the GOP nomination for six years - don't give me that "who-is-this-guy? routine.
The list of Republican presidential candidates like this goes back at least as far as 1948, when Dewey
ran against Truman. Dewey spoke in lofty generalities while Truman spoke in hard-hitting specifics.

We'll have to take your word on that because nobody else reading this was alive in 1948.

Since then, there have been many re-runs of this same scenario, featuring losers like
John McCain, Bob Dole, Gerald Ford and, when he ran for reelection, George H.W. Bush.
This year, Obama had the hard-hitting specifics-- such as ending "tax cuts for the rich"
who should pay "their fair share," government "investing" in "the industries of the future"
and the like. He had a coherent vision, however warped.

YOU say it's warped to make the rich pay their fair share of taxes?
That's why you nutty bastards lost - you're out of touch.
The voters say you're crazy, Mr white-Black guy.

Most of Obama's arguments were rotten, if you bothered to put them under scrutiny.

You certainly never made a case for that wild-ass allegation.
Saying "that's rotten" only makes it rotten on FOX News.

The real world knows that and we proved it to you on Nov 6.

Whites-only GOP meets its Destiny
Will they stop the hate or go extinct?

I have traveled this country extensively, before and during the election campaign,
speaking to whites about their political values, most recently in Ohio just before the vote.
The vast majority of straight white men I encountered were reasonable, thoughtful voters.
And here’s an irony: Much of the GOP — think Romney, Mourdock, Akin — cling to a
political narrative according to which white male voters are “conservative” and “minority”
voters are “liberal,” and where white male voters are self-sufficient and everyone else is
dependent.  It’s exactly this form of white-on-white racial profiling, a fear of the future,
that produced the election’s outrageous comments about unions, the poor, rape, women,
minorities and the like.

Fear of the future - that rings a bell:

The GOP and the Cathgolic Church have the same problem:
Both organizations are stuck in the past and their by-laws say "Change is a sin."

Both organizations see women as mere tools of procreation, and almost a man's equal.
For the Catholics and the GOP the choices are clear and they're the same: Change or die.

I can'r see either side changing.
For that to happen, someone in the church has to say, "The Pope is wrong,"
and someone in the GOP has to say, "The vulgar Pigboy is wrong."

David Frum came close to being the hero, but he pussied out.

It's tougher for the Catholics because whoever tells the Pope he's wrong
will have to spend all eternity burning in Hell.   Who wants that?

Bart, that's a tricky one.  It is definitely a 1950 Buick.  You can tell it is a 1950
because the “Venti Ports” are on the hood, not the side of the car as they were
later in this body style.  It is either a “Special” or a “Super” because it has 3 of
those “Venti-Ports,” while the Roadmaster had 4 and a slightly different grill.

I can’t see under the hood at that straight Buick 8 so I don’t know if it is a
Special (248 cubic inches) or a Super (263.3 cubic inches.)

Great puzzle, great car and great site you run!

Macy's urged to Dump Trump
400,000 say Donnie Douche needs to go

For some reason, Macy's thought Donald Trump would help usher in holiday shoppers.
However, a recent petition is demanding Macy’s to “Dump Trump” from their holiday campaign.
The campaign has gotten over 466,000 signatures so far and is just a few shy of the 500,000 signature goal.

An excerpt from the petition on states:

“Donald Trump engages in especially unpleasant, nasty and despicable behavior.  He has:

- Long engaged in sexist behavior. Trump has a long record of personally attacking women by calling
them “unattractive,” ugly or fat. He once sent a target a personal note saying she has the “face of a dog.”
Not even his own daughter is immune to Trump’s sexism. While referring to his daughter, Trump observed:
“She does have a very nice figure…if [she] weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

Subject: Rethug Bosses vs Obamacare

They're full of shit.
Obamacare doesn't fully kick in until 2014.
Employers WHO OFFER healthcare, get a tax credit.
Those who don't, don't.

The "Employer Shared Responsibility" clause only applies to companies
with over 50 employees, and those by definition aren't considered "small."

If your employer doesn't offer healthcare insurance, you can still go (1/1/14)
get it from the exchanges, which everyone will be flocking to since they're
going to offer better plans for less money since they won't have
ROMNEYESQUE $12million CEOs to pay.

Note: Tally works for the insurance industry.

Midnight - 3 AM

But think of the hundreds more servants
she and Thurston could've bossed around...

Army, Sex, FBI, Sex, Pentagon, Sex, CIA, Sex
It's a wonder they get anything done...

The Petraeus sex scandal widened Tuesday with word the top U.S. commander in
Afghanistan is under investigation for thousands of alleged "inappropriate communications"
with another woman involved in the case.

Even as the FBI prepared a timeline for Congress about the
Petraeus investigation, Defense
Secretary Leon Panetta revealed that the Pentagon had begun an internal investigation into
emails from Gen. John Allen to that Florida woman who got this sex-ball rolling.

Allen succeeded Petraeus as the top American commander in Afghanistan in July 2011,
and his nomination to become the next commander of U.S. European Command and the
commander of NATO forces in Europe has now been put on hold, as the scandal seemed
certain to ensnare another acclaimed military figure.

FBI Agent caught up in same case
No wonder there weas no time to connect the dots...

The FBI agent who spurred the investigation that turned up David Petraeus' affair was taken off
the case because authorities grew concerned about his relationship with one of the key figures in
the scandal, Fox Whore News has confirmed.
The new wrinkle seems to fill in some of the gaps in how the investigation developed and how
word of the investigation made its way to lawmakers, the White House and eventually the public
last week, when Petraeus resigned as CIA director.
The FBI agent under scrutiny had launched the investigation into harassing emails sent to Jill Kelley,
a Petraeus family friend, but the agent was removed from the case because of his behavior,
which included sending shirtless photos of himself to Kelley,
the Whore Street Journal reported.
I was watching CNN or MSNBC when some Pentagon or State Department official
said something that blew everyone's doors off, but they all pretended not to notice.

The bubbly anchorette said something about "Did Petraeus have a reputation for doing this?"
and the expert's reply was, "If you're not having an affair overseas, you're not a player."

They all looked at each other as if to say, "I didn't hear that" and they moved on.

We've talked about this before.
When most men leave town, they seek to get laid.

Why do you think so many companies hold their yearly, boring, "You wouldn't like it, Honey"
conventions in goddamn Sin City?

Christ, the f-ing CATHOLICS hold conventions in Vegas.
Do you think they do that to be closer to the desert - like Moses?

In Vegas, the joke is, "Nevada is an unincorporated state, so technically,
your marriage vows don't apply as long as you're in Vegas."

I assume Afghanistan is similarly "unincorporated."

Petraeus says he never touched Paula Broadwell while they were
alone together in the war zone.  Anybody buy that?

You think he kept his vows with shells going off around him and waited to
get back home before he started messing around with hot jogger girl?

Clue: Adultery is a CRIME in he military, so Petraeus mentally re-located their
sexcapades from then-in-Iraq to recently-at-home - months AFTER he resigned.

Fundraiser to Keep Going

Seems like it's been a year or two since we had a fund-raiser.
Subscribers are way off, donations are way down, but we still have a lot of readers.

Back in the old days, when people had jobs, we raised $6,000 once.
Today, I'd be satisfied with a $2,000 fund-raiser.

(It kills me to see other Lefty sites appeal for money:
"We need $30,000 by Friday - can you help?") is worth saving, right?

I think I can retire and make more on Social Security Disability.

Times are tough, and I realize people can't contribute like they used to
but I'd already be gone if it wasn't for Mrs. Bart kicking in her paycheck.

Even the purchases on are down - waaaay down.
Hopefiully that'll pick up some as Christmas gets closer so I think Amazon
is my best chance of staying on the web - at least that's a temporary fix.

PLEASE use the Amazon link when you shop online.

I can make it till the end of the year, and since Amazon pays two months late,
I can see me staying alive until February, but I can't make it thru next year on
the money that's been coming in lately.

The Vulgar Pigboy Lied to Us
by David Frum

Newsweek columnist David Frum called Republican leaders "cowards" and said
the right-wing base has been lied to by a "conservative entertainment complex."
Frum, a conservative who served as a speechwriter for Der Monkey Fuhrer, made his
remarks on "Morning Joe." He added that the GOP had been overrun by fear-mongers.
"The problem with Republican leaders is that they're cowards," Frum said, adding that
the party's base of donors "went apocalyptic" in the last four years.
"Republicans have been fleeced and exploited and lied to by a conservative entertainment complex," he said.
Joe Scarborough pressed him to "name names," but Frum pussied out, saying, there were "too many."
"The followers, the donors and the activists are so mistaken about the nature of the problems
the country faces," Frum said.

So, David, you came all that way to say, "Our GOP leaders are cowards"
and then you didn't have the balls to lay the blame at Pigboy's feet?

Rush Limbaugh runs the GOP - why are you afraid to point to his guilt?

Hi Bart,
Those are United States Army artillerymen swabbing, from the breach, a 12 inch disappearing gun
at an Endicott era fort. Disappearing guns were cranked up and fired over a wall or berm. The recoil
would drop it back down were it could be reloaded out of sight of the enemy. These forts protected
many coastal cities and ports on both the Atlantic and Pacific. They were built around the Spanish-American
War era and manned thru World War One. They never fired a shot in anger at an enemy vessel. They were
obsolete by WWII due to the advent of air power. This photo looks like it was taken in the 1930's.
