"It's a stick-poke in the eye for Bush. ElBaradie gets fame, glory , and accolades for

It's like finding out that the short skinny glasses-wearing kid that you and your jock

White House: Bush not insane

 Link

  Excerpt:
The White House has denied that The Terror Monkey said God told him to invade Iraq
and Afghanistan, as a new BBC documentary is expected to reveal.

The documentary (it premiers Monday) claims Bush made the claim when he met Palestinian
leader Mahmud Abbas and then-foreign minister Nabil Shaath in June 2003.
He also told them he had been ordered by God to create a Palestinian state, the ministers said.

Shaath said: "Bush said to all of us: 'I'm driven with a mission from God.' "

"'God would tell me, 'George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan'.
"'And I did. And then God would tell me, 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq... ' And I did.

"George, don't bother with those darkies in New Orleans, they're animals, anyway."

Finally, we get a look inside the abby normal brain of  The Terror Monkey.

This explains a lot.
It's not George's fault - he's just insane.

The year is 2007. The economy is in shambles; gas prices are nearing $8 gallon;
and millions are unemployed as a result of the expanding Islamic War raging
throughout the Middle East and South Asia.   Republicans are desperate to hold
the White House in the following years election in order to conclude the Reagan
Revolution of privatization, tax cuts and dismantling social and environmental progress.

An elite group led by the Vice President settles on the ultimate October surprise
to overcome devastating poll numbers: a terrorist attack on the homeland - this one
under their direction, control and intended interdiction.

Bono doesn't win Nobel Peace Prize

 Link

  Excerpt:
Three years ago, Mohamed ElBaradei was insisting that Saddam had abandoned his programs
to develop nuclear weapons despite President Bush's claims to the contrary.

Two years ago, as they wrapped up their futile efforts to find lethal weapons in Iraq,
U.S. inspectors were concluding that Bush had been wrong and ElBaradei had been right.

Last year, the United States' bid to oust ElBaradei as head of the International Atomic
Energy Agency (IAEA) found no international support.

On Friday, ElBaradei and the U.N. nuclear-watchdog agency he heads received the
Nobel Peace Prize, and the United States was full of praise.

"Projectors are those people who consistently attack others for the things they
hate most in themselves. When Bush talks about Saddam, he's talking about himself.
What's significant about Bush's projectivity is that it perfectly expresses or reflects
the larger projectivity of the Christo-fascist movement...Movements to rid the world
of evil are always paranoid because they're fundamentally driven by the crusaders'
inner evil-doers. You can kill every evil-doer in the world. You can kill everybody.
But you can never kill enough of them if it's the evil-doer in yourself who most disturbs you."

Pat Tillman, Our Hero

 Link

 Excerpt:
"I don't believe it," seethed Ann Coulter.

Her contempt was directed at a September 25 San Francisco Chronicle story
reporting that Pat Tillman believed the US war on Iraq was "FUCKING ILLEGAL."

It must have been quite a moment for Coulter, who upon Tillman's death described him as
"an American original--virtuous, pure and masculine like only an American male can be."

She tried to discredit the story, but the article's source was Pat Tillman's mother, Mary.

Pat said, "You know, this war is so FUCKING ILLEGAL"
That's who he was. He totally was against Bush..

...turns out he was one of us.

I hope Ted Rall gets a good night's sleep tonight.

Subject: worst president ever

Bart, just wanted to let you know that I carried your Worst President Ever sign at the D.C. march on the 24th.
Before the march, as we were milling around and listening to speeches, people kept coming up to me and saying
"love your sign" and asking where I got it.

After the march, as I was walking back to the mall, an 80 year old lady who lives in D.C. stopped me
and asked me if she could have it.  She wanted to put it on her front lawn and confound her neighbors.
I regretfully told her I really wanted to take it back to Arizona with me to do the same thing (I'm only 70).

The march was great and THANK YOU so VERY much for the sign!

Dixie, the credit goes to those who contributed.
It was a kick reading your letter.

"I was incredulous that the mainstream press - a group I'd been a part of for nearly
twenty-five years and thought I knew - was falling for the blogs' critiques. I was shocked
at the ferocity of the attack. I was terrified at CBS's lack of preparedness in defending us.
I was furious at the unrelenting attacks on Dan. And I was helpless to do anything about
any of it...To these people, there was no such thing as unbiased mainstream reporting,
certainly not when it came to criticism of the president, no matter how tepid. To them,
there was Fox News and everything else - and everything else was liberal and unfair."

Rove to Bush: I'm innocent

  Link

 Excerpt:
Karl Rove denied to Bush that he engaged in an effort to disclose Plame's identity
to discredit her husband's criticism of Iraq policy, say people familiar with Rove's
statements in a criminal investigation.  Beginning two years ago, the White House
flatly denied that Rove had been involved in unlawfully leaking her identity .

The White House denials collapsed in July amid the disclosure of  Matt Cooper's
conversations in July 2003 about Wilson's wife with Rove and Lewis Libby,
the scumbag chief of staff top scumbag Dick Cheney.

Subject: Hillary at the peace rally

Bart,

I understand your argument that Hillary could and probably would be blamed for anything
that happened at the rally.  But I disagree with your conclusion that she should not have gone.

Any leader could use that reasoning as an excuse not to go to anything meaningful and
where would that lead us?  I think it was a chance she should have taken as a sign to the
rest of us that she understands the value of peace… especially in light of her questionable
stance of sending even more troops to Iraq.

Harriet Meirs-The Enema Within

 Link

  Excerpt:
What is with the Moron and his choice of women? Yikes. And poor Harriet.
This is just more cronyism at best, and more evidence of some sort of creepy
oedipal complex at worst. I mean, Georgie's got a real problem with women, don't you think?

Or does he just need to be constantly coddled AND whipped?

Or does he need the security of knowing that Harriet, his legal Mommy, will protect him
and cover his ass on the Supreme Court like she so evidently has in his immediate past?
....ie cleansing his shabby AWOL National Guard service? his drinking? his relapse? his odd behaviors as Prez?

Who knows? And really, why is the Right Wing in such a snit? Harriet's perfect.
No paper trail; a religious convert of the worst sort, a zealot; single; by the Moron's
own words 'a pit bull'; no doubt a nasty ideologue.

And just because Harry Reid took a stupid pill and endorsed her, doesn't mean that she's
not a dangerous clown to have on the highest court in the land.

Wot the Hell is goin'on?
I see stories about the Reich Wing attacking Shrub's choice of Miers.
Do they want her so much that they'll attack her so as to NOT have
her identified as a Reichmaster totally subservient to Der Monkey?

She's a "Get out of jail, free" card that they really want.
If the wingnuts are fed a suggestion that she isn't inflexible in
their way an attack might produce a reaction in moderates:
"If THEY are attacking her then she can't be all bad!".

I think that they are desperate to get the card.

I wish I could get liberals to look at the gun subject with a little bit of logic.

If they could manage that leap of faith,

we'd still have the World Trade Centers in New York,
and people might admit that Bush is a failed, igno-monkey

Subject: Katie Holmes pregnant

Bart,

Have you ever heard or read about L. Ron Hubbard's pre-Dianetics life?
Seems he was closly associated with thelemite rocket scientist Jack Parsons in the late forties.
One of Parsons' obsessions was with the possibility of fathering a "Moonchild" - i.e. a child
who is conceived in the course of a magickal ritual.  Apparantly Hubbard was present and
actively involved in the rites.

Later he stole a sum of money from Parsons and took off with Mrs. Parsons - who was not
the woman in the magickal working. Parsons sued for the return of the money but not his wife - ha ha.

I vaguely remember Hubbard's son claiming that Hubbard was trying to complete the ritual much later,
well after Parsons' death - at home - in a rocket fuel explosion.

I wonder what Parsons' neighbors in conservative Pasadena, CA thought of all this?

Random Thought...

The Flying Monkey Right (all praise to Mike Malloy)

says that a woman MUST be subservient to her man, because their uterus makes 'em stupid,
and The Holy Bible says that the man makes all the decisions, ...via God's Invisible Cloud orders.

But when Lyndie England says she did what she did because her scumbag boyfriend told her
to do what she did, the far-right says, "She's just trying to avoid personal responsibility!"

Shouldn't Tom Coburn introduce legislation that the American military rule out all applicants
that aren't from a typical, living husband and wife Bush voters because the alternative -
allowing the spawn of a single parent or non-traditional parent's home - is just too risky?

As you have said many times in the past she is keeping her powder dry.

Tim, great e-mail and you're right.

They impeached and crucified Bill Clinton when they knew he was innocent and the
Democrats agreed with the dirty whore press and the GOP that he was a bad, bad man.

Clinton got blown,
Bush invades and murders at the drop of a hat
and OUR guy gets screwed by history?

Fuck that.

I wish my party had a sliver of courage...
I wish my party knew what the word "outrage" meant.

I wish my party had just a tiny little lust for power.

"By appointing his personal lawyer after appointing a Chief Justice who helped him out in
the 2000 Florida election, he is 'stacking' the court with justices who will protect him and his

As it stands, the court will protect even more Bush secrets than ever, against any and all investigators."

I think hiring the Hell's Angels for security is almost as dumb as giving Bush the presidency,
Gimme Shelter shows Meredith Hunter coming toward the stage with a knife and a gun.

The Angels were probably wasted and in a bad mood, but brandishing weapons anywhere
is a crapshoot at best, and deadly at worst. I don't condone what happened, but the Stones
were relying on the advice of the Grateful Dead who had used the Angels as security on a
number of occasions without incident.

Pop Goes the Real Estate Bubble
  I don't believe it - not for a second...

  Link

 Excerpt:
The Big One isn't the long-predicted California earthquake or even a hurricane named Katrina.
The genuine big one will arrive with a deafening pop, the sound of the real estate bubble bursting.
In the past few years there have been plenty of false sightings, but now comes something truly ominous:
a 13 percent drop in Manhattan real estate prices in a mere three-month period ending October 1.

As if that were not bad enough, the same is reported in Boston, Washington and San Francisco,
the places that have led the national upward zoom in real estate prices for the past several years.

This guy is crazy
Sure, home prices are illogical, but how is this bubble going to "burst?"
Are people going to stop wanting to live in fine homes in nice locations with a view?

The Internet bubble burst primarily because the profits were intangible.
You can't live in shares of  amazon.com.

I say the housing bubble can't burst, it can only cool off.

Subject: never explained why?

Hi Bart,
I've been writing for TWO F-ING YEARS, explaining "why" and "how"
the Dems & Repugs are "The Big Money Party", and you continue to be ignorant???
You say "no one" explains this???

Are you smoking crack? W.T.F.?
Why are you playing dumb with an issue SO freaking apparent?

The Dems and Repugs are both playing the "good cop/ bad cop" routine
for the establishment of "The New World Order".    DUH!!!!!

Why are you so against comprehension?
It doesn't fit the dumb Oakey image?

Best Regards,
Rob Mahon

Rob, it's always good to hear from you.
You're saying the right's hatred of the Clinton's, liberalism (and I suppose blacks and gays)
is a sham because secretly they're all on the same team, working for the same goals.

I disagree.
If that was true, why do Democrats fail to play their assigned role as aggressive adversaries?

 Governor Ted Nugent?

  Link

  Excerpt:
One can never be quite sure how seriously to take anything that comes out of Ted's mouth,
but he recently said he was "getting real close to deciding to run" for governor. That follows a
vow made during the 2002 campaign to run in '06 if Democrat Jennifer Granholm was elected.

He's since moved to Texas, but when we asked six months ago, a Nugent spokeswoman
said the anti-Granholm pledge had not been retracted.

Nugent's periodic flirtation with public office often seems to conveniently coincide with the
promotion of his other interests, concert tours, hunting and gun rights (he's been on the board
of the NRA for 10 years). But let's assume for a minute that he's serious about being
Michigan's governor. There are a few things it would be nice to know.

For one, is Ted Nugent a Republican?

Too bad Tiger Woods' scorecard didn't have a few sketches of the places he saw at Harding Park.
He was in the trees, under a car and hit his last tee shot so far to the right with the wind at his back
that it flew over the rough, bounced off a cart path and went over a 25-foot hospitality tent.
It might have gone all the way into the parking lot, except that it bounced off a fan and settled onto the stairs.

He got to see all of Harding Park while chasing his balls.
