Reid Backs Iraq War-Funds Cutoff
Does he mean it? Or will he back down and apologize?

 WaHoPo

 Excerpt:
Harry Reid  has endorsed the Senate's toughest antiwar bill yet, a bid to cut off funding within a year,
sending a clear signal to the blood-thirsty Monkey that the Iraq debate will continue in Congress
regardless of whether he carries through on his veto threats.

Reid teamed up with Russ Feingold on legislation to set a deadline of March 31, 2008,
for completing the withdrawal of troops and ending most military spending in Iraq.

Bush, as expected, threw a tantrum and cursed and broke things.
You know how he gets when someone tells him no.

"It's going to be like the government shutdowns of 1995 and 1996.
The Democrats' honeymoon is fixing to end. It's going to explode like an IED."

Women helping Hillary

 Link

 Excerpt:
The first woman to run on a US presidential ticket has promised her friend Hillary Clinton
that she will help her fight Republican "dirty tricks" in the race for the White House.

"The only thing that can stop Hillary becoming the next president would be smears and dirty tricks,"
said Geraldine Ferraro, the Democrats' losing 1984 vice-presidential candidate. "I've told her I'll go
anywhere and speak any time to make sure that doesn't happen."

She outlined her plans for a display of female solidarity with Hillary last week.

Miss Ferraro, 71, has joined Madeleine Albright and Billie Jean King in a "rapid rebuttal force"
of well-known women on standby to defend and promote Sen Clinton's candidacy.

Smears and dirty tricks are easy to counter - all you have to do is fight back.
The real problem is coming from Hillary's left.

Subject: BCR feedback

feedback #1:  Two thumbs up for the shorter shows\increased quantity format change.

feedback #2:  Show #112 is #1 for being consistantly entertaining to me.
You lost me on the previous short shows when you started giving air time to "them" (see footnote).
I have a very hard time listening to "them".   (I think he means Republican media whores)

But show #112, that didn't happen.  For some reason I stuck through without any annoyance.
Maybe "them"'s delivery wasn't as caustic.  Or maybe I'm just getting used to it.

Keep swing,
 Chris

Beautiful Dining Room Tables

We are in the business of selling beautiful dining room tables.
They are made from 100% real midwestern hardwoods, in the old- fashioned style.
Our dining room furniture is build very solidly, is very well-made,
and is intended to last longer than the hardwood trees it's created from.

We encourage you to check out our guide to dining room furniture,
a compendium of information on our dining tables, chairs and hutches.

Distract and Disenfranchise

 bartblog

 Excerpt:
Since Reagan won the White House, we have once again become a deeply unequal society.
Median income has risen only 17 percent since 1980, while the income of the richest 0.1 percent of
the population has quadrupled. The gap between the rich and the middle class is as wide now as it
was in the 1920s, when the political coalition that would eventually become the New Deal was taking shape.

But today's Republicans can't respond in any meaningful way to rising inequality, because their activists
won't let them. You could see the dilemma just this past Friday and Saturday, when almost all the
G.O.P. presidential hopefuls traveled to Palm Beach to make obeisance to the Club for Growth,
a supply-side pressure group dedicated to tax cuts and privatization.

If people would vote for themselves instead of the party of the super-rich, we could
change the country and the world - but no - they INSIST on giving the super-rich more..

Bart-
It doesn't matter how people vote if the campaign cash comes from the rich and goes to
all the nominated candidates; the candidates will vote in THEIR self interest, not ours.

Voting at all is voting against your own interests, because none of the candidates are on your side.
Voting simply doesn't determine who runs thge country anymore.
 Scott

If the candidates vote their own best interests, they can be voted out.

Subject: Elizabeth Edwards

Just got back from an Edwards event in NH.
The place was overflowing. Don't underestimate this guy.

I had the chance to speak with Elizabeth.
She is whip smart and lovely.

Since I have to do battle with Medicare D and the pharmaceutical industry on a daily basis,
I asked her about our stupid Medicare drug coverage, (referring to the 60 minutes piece last Sunday
about how former Congressman Billy Tauzin pushed the bill through in the middle of the night and
secured himself a $2 million annual salary when he left Congress, while I go begging for $226 to cover
the co-pay for a patient's xeloda for her metastatic breast ca.   Ain't America grand?)

Anyway, she not only knew all program's pitfalls I mentioned, she cited more.
She ended by saying "He (John) knows all this. He plans to address this."

Bart, can I believe Hillary will do the same?
Big Pharma is one of her contributors.
 MA

MA, I have an opinion about what Hillary might do as president, but what is that worth?

I think Hillary would be a better champion for you than any Republican, and logic says that, as a women,
she'd understand more than most men, but John Edwards has some insight into this problem too.
When Ann Coulter called him a fag, she meant he had a heart and appeals to women.

Bottom line - any Democrats would be better than any Republican.

Breast cancer never produced one barrel of oil so why should the GOP give a fuck?

Rudy's wife killed puppies!!!

 Link

 Excerpt:
Judith Giuliani once demonstrated surgical products for a medical-supply company that used dogs
- which were later killed - in operations whose only purpose was to sell equipment to doctors.

"It was a horribly cruel, outrageous program," Friends of Animals President Priscilla Feral said.
The dogs were "either put to death following the sales demonstrations because they can't recover
from them or they die during them," Feral said.

"I hope she regrets it for what it was - a mon ey-grubbing effort," said Feral. "How does she justify this?"

Botched US raid caused Iran crisis

 independent.co.uk

 Excerpt:
A failed American attempt to abduct two senior Iranian security officers on an official visit to northern Iraq
was the starting pistol for a crisis that 10 weeks later led to Iranians seizing 15 British sailors and Marines.
Early on the morning of 11 January, helicopter-born US forces launched a surprise raid on a long-established
Iranian liaison office in the city of Arbil in Iraqi Kurdistan. They captured five relatively junior Iranian officials
whom the US accuses of being intelligence agents and still holds."

FOX Whore News Democrats

 Link

 Excerpt:
Boycotting debates is not the same as boycotting a network. Most Democrats who've criticized Fox,
like Paul Begala and pollster Mark Mellman, have stopped short of calling for the party to avoid Fox.
They would just like Democrats to realize what they're getting into. "As long as you're willing to treat
Fox News as a political adversary, and you think you can use Fox News to further your arguments,
you should do it, says Matt Stoller, a blogger at MyDD.com and a leader of the charge against the
debates. "But don't go on there assuming that Fox News is a neutral news outlet."

Subject: BCR 98-112

Hey, Bart!

First off, the switch to shorter weekly programs was a big win.
I don't have time to listen that regularly, so a regular schedual isn't what I'm talking about.
Hell, I didn't have time to listen to a program for nearly two months and then listened to 98-111 in order
over the course of two weekends.  Anyway, the shorter program and the deadline have sharpened the focus.
There isn't a lot of repetition of stuff that has already been chewed to death on the page.

My two favorite parts from 112 were Nancy Pelosi teaching the facts of life to Inhofe
and the rant against Tiger Woods (was that McGruder?)

--joe in Japan

Joe, hopefully you didn't listen to shows 98-112 in succession.
I've had people tell me they listened to many hours in a row, which I wouldn't recommend.
Bartcop outrage should be dispensed in 75 minute doses - to avoid toxic buildup.

Longtime readers might remember Michael Delgiorno,
the uber-religious pompous ass of Tulsa AM tradio.

He's a major hypocrite of Pigboy proportions, and he's in the news.

Wait, first you gotta hear him read my Clinton-era FAX.

I heard from the guy who runs michaeldelgiornosucks.com

He got me up-to-speed on this bad bastard.

First, it seems Delgiorno led the AM radio charge against casinoes* coming to Tulsa.
Fine, he has an opinion - nothing wrong with that.

But then that sick bastard got caught cheating at a blackjack tables,
so they banned the dirty uber-religious hypocrite for life.

The scumbag placed a blackjack bet and when he lost, he yelled, "Look over there"
and tried to snatch back some of his chips. He's not only a crook, he's a clumsy crook,
but I'm sure he'd be the first to say, "Jesus forgives me because I'm not perfect."

michaeldelgiornosucks.com  has the PDF of the banned-for-life order.

But it gets better.

Delgiorno is losing or has lost his house.

michaeldelgiornosucks.com  has the PDF of the forclosure notice.

Gee, does Mikey have a gambling problem?
Is that why he lost his house?
I wonder how his wife feels about him gambling away their future?
I wonder how she feels about "Local asshole arrested" with his picture
alongside the headline being in the newspaper?

 ha ha

Suck on it, Mikey!

If you have a second, click on michaeldelgiornosucks.com  and maybe
send the webmaster an e-mail that says, "I hate religious hypocrites."

Note: In his online biography, there's no mention of his gambling problem
or getting banned for stealing or losing his home - due to his gambling problem?

Sidebar:
Can you believe this religio-whore is still on the air?
After getting caught stealing from a casino and losing his house?

Democrats Widen Conflict With Butcher of Baghdad

 WaHoPo

 Excerpt:
Even as their confrontation with Bush over Iraq escalates, emboldened congressional Democrats are
challenging the White House on a range of issues -- such as unionization of airport security workers and
the loosening of presidential secrecy orders -- with even more dramatic showdowns coming soon.

For his part, Bush, who also finds himself under assault for the firing of eight U.S. attorneys, the Iraq war
and alleged abuses in government surveillance by the FBI, Katrina, Halliburton abuses, the Abramoff scandal,
missing billions in Iraq, the no-meter oil wells, oil company price gouging, Osama laughing at us, the missing
billions in Afghanistan, wiretapping the UN, the Medicare bribe scandal, fixed prescription drug prices,
ties to Tom DeLay's corruption felonies, jamming election phones in New Hampshire, the Tom Armstrong
Williams fake news scandal, Ground Zero's deadly air that was labeled "fine," outing the CIA's Valerie Plame,
then lying about it, Scalia and Thomas conflicts of interest scandals, going AWOL - no wait, he gets a pass
on that because Dan Rather made a schoolboy gaffe, The fake Niger yellowcake AKA lying us into war,
the Abu Graib tortures and debials of secret torture prisons in Eastern Europe, plus too many more to list,
is holding firm.

Sydney Pollack to Direct Film on 2000 Gore Cave in

 editorandpublisher.com

 Excerpt:
HBO is revisiting one of the most dramatic events in U.S. election history with "Recount," a film about
the 2000 turmoil in Florida to be directed by Oscar winner Sydney Pollack. The HBO Films project is
targeted to premiere in spring 2008.  "Recount" chronicles the weeks after the 2000 presidential election
and goes behind the scenes of the recounts in Florida to explore the human drama of ordinary people
caught in an extraordinary event that would decide the leadership of the country.

Iraq pumped 3.5M barrels daily before Bush invaded
and then they got their 2003 Halliburton upgrade

Bush is stealing $220,000,000 every day.

No wonder they were so eager to start a war,

stealing  $220,000,000 every day.

It's the biggest theft in Earth's history.

Exxon made $10B profit in 90 days
$100M a day - all profit - because Bush started a fake war

Bush's "Bring 'em on" death taunt is up to...

3,252....3,257 American victims

We lost  5 more strolling around McCain's "Paradise,"
while the Little Dictator force-feeds the meatgrinder.

...and how much did BIG OIL make yesterday?
Exxon makes $108M - every day

(And that's just ONE oil company)

5 more soldiers dead, but that's OK because
Exxon makes $75,000 profit per minute

Bush can live with that,
because Iraq's oil wells have no meters
and his front company is moving to Dubai.

Bloomberg News says Iraq is currently pumping 2M barrels a day. (Lies)
But even 2M barrels is $120M a day - where's that money going?

Bush has killed more Americans than Osama.
