from his bank account, his legal file as well as his family's medical records. Separately, Brown's
tax paperwork was taken from his accountant's office apparently by hacking into the firm's
computer. This was passed to another newspaper.
CNN implied that Murdoch has been blackmailing Brit politicians for decades.

Ed Rollins took illegal cash from Marcos

Ed Rollins brought a burst of positive media coverage to Michelle Bachmann when he signed on
as campaign manager of her sometimes loopy presidential bid, but Rollins continues to hide a
dark secret from one of his previous national campaigns.
For two decades, Rollins has withheld evidence about the identity of a top Filipino politician who
admitted delivering an illegal $10 million cash payment to Reagan’s 1984 campaign from Ferdinand Marcos.
Rollins, who ran Reagan’s reelection campaign in 1984, mentioned the admission in his 1996 book,
Bare Knuckles and Back Rooms, recounting how the Filipino casually asserted over drinks in 1991 that he
had carried the money in a suitcase to a Republican lobbyist who was representing the Reagan campaign.
“I was the guy who gave the ten million from Marcos to your campaign,” the Filipino told Rollins.
“I was the guy who made the arrangements and delivered the cash personally. … a gift from Marcos to Reagan.”
In his book, Rollins described this stunning news with a light touch.
The first thought that raced through his head, he wrote, was “Cash? Holy shit.”

deficit-reduction deal is not attainable as long as Barack Obama is president.

Having to buy a fluorescent light bulb is an affront to personal freedom.
House Republicans are pushing legislation that would overturn measures the
energy act requiring efficiency upgrades in the old-fashioned incandescent light bulb,
little changed since it was invented by Thomas Edison 132 years ago.
Republicans say the new standards are a symbol of an overreaching federal government
and people should have the right to buy the old, wasteful bulbs. Sane people say new bulbs
will save Americans billions of dollars in energy costs.
For some Republicans, the new standards are a glaring example of big brother government.
The legislation, Barton said, "is about more than just energy consumption. It is about personal freedom."
Why are light bulbs a "personal freedom" issue, but playing poker and smoking pot
are why we need the federal government looking over our shoulder every fucking minute?
Oh, by the way, Teabaggers, Bush signed the new light bulb law in 2007
but somehow, this has become the dreaded "socialist Kenyan bulb."

Bart, I just realized I wasn’t even seeing your ads. I use “AdBlock Plus”
and didn’t even notice the ads weren’t there since until I just looked for them.
Adblocker does a pretty seamless job of removing the ads without screwing up
the rest of the page and most people probably just install it and don’t think about it afterwards.
I just disable adblock for bartcop.com.
Maybe you can put a request that readers disable adblockers for your site;
I’m sure other people will disable them if they realize what’s happening.
