So shocked to learn about Bart's passing. He really kept me sane, I've been reading him since he was first putting up the site as Rush Limbo, Lying Nazi. Or some such title, anyway he kept me from going crazy through those awful times and let me know that there were others who felt like me, especially since he lived in a Red State like I did. I will miss you my friend. RIP

I am shattered. My friend Dave turned me on to Bart in the early 2000's and he SO helped me survive the Bush/Cheney administration. Such a truth seeker. Such an outspoken, intelligent fighter for justice. And so funny! Bartcop was absolutely my favorite website. I am just crushed today. In spite of his atheism, I have studied the possible life beyond for a long time and think there is great hope that we'll see Bart again. My sympathies go out to Mrs. Bart, the kitties, Marc Perkel, Mike Malloy and the thousands of Bart fans. Getting over this will be tough. I'll send some bucks.

Damn! I've been reading this site almost from its inception. Bart and the crew have been a part of my stay-sane kit for a long time. It's gonna be hard adding BartCop to the already too-long list of outstanding bloggers who have passed.

So long, Bart! We hardly knew ye.

I have been reading Bart now since the 2000 election, after the Bush bastard stole the white house. I believe he help our country get through a very bad time, one I wasn’t sure we would. I looked forward each day to seeing what Bart had to say, always found him entertaining and informative. He will be sorely missed by all, I was very saddened to hear of his passing. As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of “Bartcop”. He will live on in memory for the rest of our lives.
