I've been reading Bartcop faithfully since 1999. Bart was my political hero: He had a way with beating rightwingers that I wish the Democrats would learn.

I was a fan of Bartcop in his earliest days. I always enjoyed his determination and vivid viewpoint. He was on the side of the angels and now, one assumes, he is with them. I am sad that he has passed and send my condolences to his family and to the others in this little community whose lives will be a little more empty with him gone.
