Cannot adequately convey in words my feelings of sadness about Bartcop. I considered him a friend and admired him greatly. We connected ideologically and were on the same page concerning almost all the issues of the day. With his wit and humor, Bart made the world a little bit better place to live for many of us despite all the craziness going on all around us. I spoke with him on the phone a few times, he would call for details about a photo I had taken or travel advice. He was a great guy and it was a real pleasure knowing him. I'm really going to miss Bart a lot. May God bless Bart and also give comfort to Mrs Bart in her time of loss and sorrow.

I stopped reading the page a long time ago, for a variety of reasons, but it was nice to know bartcop was still hammering on the right. It's very hard to process that he's no longer with us.

So very sad to hear of this. Bart was a beacon and must daily read for me. Hopefully someone with the wit and insight will continue the effort cause this battle is not done yet.
