So many memories. Bartcop was the first political site I ever got to, back in the days when internet access meant spending hours on the library computer. And I did, laughing all through Clinton's impeachment, Bush's "Presidency" and all of the rest. Although I spend my time at another liberal blog, I will never forget this haven back when there were no liberal sites to speak of.-

I have lost a good friend. While I never met Bart, I felt like I knew him well, and that he somehow knew me. My Dad and I started reading his page back in 1997, and have never missed an issue since. There are even some graphics I created and sent to Bartcop.com that are still up in the archives. He was one of the first bloggers, and one of the loudest, most important voices on the left for so many. I don't drink tequila, but you can be damn sure I'm going to smoke some hearty bud for my departed friend. Thank you, Terry. Thank you for making me laugh, making me think, making me determined, and for swinging the hammer. Wherever you are......keep swinging.
