I'm 64 & I don't usually cry but tears have been welling up in my eyes since I started reading the comments. Terry, you touched so many lives and gave us a lifeline to help get us through the horrendous Bush years. Your voice will be missed but I know wherever you are you're still swinging that hammer.

The word of your loss this morning shocked me. Bart was my first big involvement among the moonbats (a label I wear proudly.) Next time it thunders, I'll know the hammer is still coming down.

His site, Bartcop.com was a weekly go-to for me. He could infuriate me but mostly I agreed with him. I stole his many graphics and passed along his many linked articles.
He and his site were a source of intelligent anger and hilarious put-downs of the narrow-mindedness and greed that has and is, destroying the best of our country.
I'm already missing you.

I started reading Bartcop over 12 years ago. Everyday, even when I was dodging mortars in Iraq, I had to get my Bart fix. Bart always made my day and for that I will be eternally grateful. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Bart and everyone else that was touched by that funny guy.
