I used to read bartcop many years ago. I kind of stopped for many years and only started again a few months ago. I am saddened to hear of his sickness and passing. I know I was reading this during the Bush years and remember this well before the additional webpages. I even clicked through the Amazon link to send some additional payment to Bart. Make sure to keep or put up the tip jar so we can contribute even if we can't do a subscription.

I feel like I've lost a personal friend. I can't remember how I first came across bartcop.com but it's been the first site I've clicked on daily for almost 15 years and recommended to others. My condolences to Mrs. Bartcop.

Very sad to read of his illness; I never knew. I am not a subscriber, but if possible I will subscribe now in memory of the humor with which he punctured the lies and pretentious posing of so-called conservatives.

He deserves that for the service he gave to all thinking people.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bartcop's passing. Mike Malloy turned me on to Bartcop years ago and Bart's website was the first stop for me after logging on. Such a unique, informative and funny website. Bart and his snark will really be missed. My condolences to Mrs. Bart and the kitties.

What a tragedy! I am so sorry to hear the sad news. Thank you Bart for doing such a fantastic job in exposing the sick, poison that is the neo-fascist side of politics in the USA. I enjoyed your website so very much and I hope some one can take over the reigns and keep your legacy alive. I wish I knew of your site earlier I only started reading it 2 years ago in my little office at work in Melbourne, Australia. God bless you, rest in peace and the good fight must still be fought!
