to ask about your pitch to superdelegates and if that's changed at all. I mean,
are you talking to them at all about the concerns that the Clintons might yet again burn
down the Democratic Party?" -- From a March 5 Obama campaign conference
"People want a new kind of politics, where's
it's not about tearing each other down, but instead it's about building the
country up." -- From Obama's regular stump speech

> This is more about hating the Clintons than
keeping women in their place.
The Clinton hate runs rampant, but there's a special
rabidness aimed at Hillary
that's honestly horrifying. I can't help but
think it's intensified because she is in
possession of a vagina. And she'd be hated even
if she weren't a Clinton.
One irrational hate isn't stronger than the other:
they simply fuel each other.
Even if she's hated as Clinton, she's attacked
as a woman (most often, at least).
That's like getting me to decide if I'm hated
more because I'm black or because I'm a woman.
The "which prejudice is worse" game is always
a bad one to play.
Excerpt: First, misogyny may be the last socially acceptable
bigotry. MSNBC thinks it's fine to repeatedly

for the crudest slang for the female genitals.
It's safe to say that the network wouldn't host the founder
of "C. O. O. N." if such an organization
Second, the "Clinton rules" among celebrity journalists
definitely remain in effect. Where the Clintons
are concerned, absolutely anything goes. This
has been true in Washington since roughly 1994 and
will clearly remain so as long as the couple
remains in public life.
Yesterday in Ohio, my wife and I changed our registration
from Republican to Democrat.
We did that for the sole purpose of voting for
the most qualified person running for President
and that would be Senator Clinton of New York.
We have been very avid readers of your site
since late last year and we thank you for all
you do, to keep us all straight.
"This has been where Hillary's "experience"
has helped. She knows the finer points of dragging an opponent through the
dirt and blaming it on rogue campaign workers, or simply denying having anything to
do with it. Obama and Michelle will only look like the idiots that they are if they make
accusations and can't prove them." -- Strike#,

What do I want to happen about Michigan's delegates?
I would think that the only fair solution is to
have another primary here
with Obama and Clinton on the ballot. It sounds
as if Clinton wants the
delegates all for herself, even though she kind
of won be default.
John, so Michigan gets to vote and Florida doesn't?
What if they both vote and they split, one for
Her, one for Obama?
See - we have a problem.
Adding to the problem is WE got screwed the last
two times, so whoever loses
this fight gets screwed three times
and that means somebody's going to go postal.
I suggest two solutions: Obama will be younger than McCain
20 years from now - he has a future.
He should step aside and let a senior stateswoman
have her administration.
He could accept the VP role and get some needed
experience - a win/win.
If Obama was an old man, I'd say let's give it
to him this time, but we
have to decide something because the alternative
is a third Bush term.
"McCain - when he was a prisoner all those
years --- it's not sentimental, it's factual --- the more you give to something,
the more you become committed to it. He committed to his country over there. He made
an investment in America, alone in that cell, when he was being tortured and afraid of being
put to death at any moment -- and turning down a chance to come home. Those are non-political
facts which I think do work for him. "
-- Chris Matthews, proving once again how independent he is,
Butt Chris, didn't McCain
also committ so sucking Bush's ass for the last eight years?
Didn't he also committ to Jerry Falwell after calling him a fraud
Didn't he also commit to torture suspects in 2005, 2006 and 2007?
OK, he's a war hero - tell his story. ...but tell
ALL of his story.
By my recollection (No Alzheimer's yet!), you've
never personally attacked Obama or
any of his cult followers. Never mind how easy
that would have been. You just have not done so.
On the other hand, you have all but bent over
backward to be fair to BO and his BO-neheads.
I'm really sorry so many of your friends, readers
and listeners have felt compelled to take you to task
for their delusions that you've somehow slimed

Only sane man in the room/on the Web?
Yeah, that would be you.
Bart, there is NO WAY that delegates from Florida
and Michigan (two of 4 or 5 swing states that
the Dems must win in Nov.) won't be seated at
their Convention. Yes, those two states "broke"
Democratic primary rules by moving up their election
dates, but so did Iowa, New Hampshire
and So. Carolina. So that situation will
Somewhere along the line harsh reality will break
into the clouded minds of the Democratic Party
hierarchy, and it will say, "Hey, most of the
states that Obama is winning are shoo-ins for the
Republicans in November." Whereas Hillary
is not only winning the Big Blue states with all those
electoral college votes, but she is winning not
only known swing states (Mi. Fla, Ohio, Pa. Nev.)
but also red border states like Arizona, New
Mexico, Okla. with heavy Hispanic population.
Obama has been shown to be weak there.
Hillary is the obvious candidate if the Dems want
We need to start spreading some light on McCain's
2nd wife. She's 18 years his junior.
He was 44 when he married a 26 year old.
Not to bad for an old fart.
Anyway, she is a BEER heiress (remember Kerry's
wife is a ketchup heiress).
Beer seems just a little hypocritical for the
right wingers, focus on the family, etc., to run on.
Also, her money saved his ass, politically speaking.
So thanks to her daddy's money and BEER, the
religious right has a new headache!
Hammer it home Bart!!!! Check all this out
Your biggest fan,
"The Clinton campaign got rough and nasty over
the last week-plus. And they got results. That may disgust you or it may inspire
you with confidence in Hillary's abilities as a fighter. But wherever you come down on that
question - that that's how campaign's work. Opponents get nasty. And what we've
seen over the last week is nothing compared to what Obama would face this fall
if he hangs on and wins the nomination." -- Josh Marshall, getting it right -

"Obama has crested, and now he's
falling. He had really bad news cycles in the last week. The turban photo, the

I keep hearing everywhere that Hillary can't make
up the numbers in the Delegate count
at this point so she needs to drop out.
When you actually do the math neither of them
can reach the goal of 2, 025 by the end of the
If Obama wins 100% of the remaining delegates
he reaches 1,979.
If Hillary wins 100% she's at 1,841.
They both need the Super Delegates.
This person alleges that they got
a doctored Obama photo from Hillary's site,

to provide the link so we could verify for ourselves
that the as-yet-unverified allegation was,
in fact, from Hillary's site..
is what they CLAIM happened, but they forgot the proof
If they wanted to be taken seriously, why not
provide the link?
Or is no proof necessary when accusing
the Clintons of race-baiting?
Here's more - two pictures of Obama from Feb 2 in Minneapolis,
presumably taken seconds apart by the same guy using the same camera.
Obama seems to be changing colors as he stands there.
Is this more proof that Hillary is running a race-baiting campaign of
Or does it prove that light can sometimes affect a picture?
And since I'm not like the race-baiting Hillary-haters,
give you the link so you can se *I* am not lying.

The final story arc of West Wing
had a Latino Dark Horse Candidate (Obama) for President
against the Washington insider (Hillary), and
the nomination came down to the convention and
was not decided in the first couple of days.
Also, the Republican Candidate (McCain)
was considered a Moderate
and hated by the Far right conservatives.
That is just a little weird.
