In 12 swing states — Obama leads Romney 51 percent to 42 percent.
While that lead is eye-opening in its own right — most people believe that the race will be close — it’s all
the more remarkable given that, just a month ago, Romney held a two-point edge in these same 12 states.
Why Obama has reclaimed the lead? It’s women. In mid-February, Obama took less than half of the vote
from women under 50 years old. Now he wins more than 60 percent of them. (Obama is ahead of Romney
among all women by 18 points.)
That rapid consolidation of women behind Obama seems directly attributable to the focus in the GOP
on contraception and other reproductive rights issues during the past six weeks or so.
Yes, and they KNEW they were losing women when they made those crazy statements,
but they still said them in an attempt to out-bitch the other.
Now Obama's ahead by 18 in the biggest voting bloc in America - women.

Why would Eric Holder, head of the Justice Department, do a 180 on promises he made
to leave medical marijuana legalization to the states? Could it be that someone has informed
him that legalizing marijuana would harm the drug cartels?
It isn't hard to imagine, given the obvious rampant corruption in U.S. government, that big drug
money might have found a way to get the government to do the work of destroying medical marijuana.

Obama, employing his strongest language to date on the Supreme Court review of the federal
health care overhaul, cautioned the court Monday against overturning the law -- while repeatedly
saying he's "confident" it will be upheld.
Obama, adopting what he described as the language of conservatives who fret about judicial activism,
questioned how an "unelected group of people" could overturn a law approved by Congress.
Yeah, tell them, Barack.
This is the president I've been wanting to see for 3.5 years.
"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step
of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.
Odds are he's bluffing, but it's what I call a "semi-bluff."
The for-sale Supreme Court ig going to follow whatever orders their handlers give them, but when they do,
Obama can say, "WE gave you health care and the crooked Republican bastards stole it from you."

Dog-on-Roof, Man-on-Dog both lose to Obama

Man-on-Dog, scrambling for traction against front-runner Dog-on-Roof in Wisconsin Tuesday,
got a little good news in a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll of swing states.
Man-on-Dog fares almost as well against Obama as Dog-on-Roof does in 12 battleground states,
which include Wisconsin. Santorum trails Obama by 11, Romney trails the president by 9 points.
In a nationwide race, Romney does a bit better than Santorum, trailing Obama
by 4 points (45%-49%) while Santorum trails him by 8 (43%-51%).
Bottom line: Obama is ahead by 18 with women.
What's he doing to do to make women hate him this year?
Get caught cheating on Michelle?
Not gonna happen.
Start a war without provocation?
Not gonna happen.
And what's Flip-Flopper Dog-on-Roof going to do - run to the center?

That is David Clayton Thomas of the band 'Blood Sweat & Tears.'
I really dig their first album with Al Kooper 'Child is Father to the Man.'
It has great tunes, then the band kicked Al out of the band he started, and hired David.
I will tell ya Bart no one can beat this. My wife Nancy and I picked a BS&T song to be
our wedding song. The song is 'You've Made Me So Very Happy' our wedding song had
to have a horn section in it, No Lionel Ritchie fluff or Carpenters, We had to have a song
that kicked ass. I also took the garter belt off to Whipping Post by The Allman Brothers Band.
My best mans brothers were a great competent band that just rocked our wedding.
My best man and I got up on stage and sang 'Soul Man' We got good reviews too.
