Mrs. Bartcop, I send my deepest condolences. Bartcop was my favorite site on the planet, has been for many years. Our side just lost one of the best, a true original if there if ever was one.

I found bartcop.com back in 2002, and have been a reader of the page ever since. Terry kept me sane during the BFEE years, and his sense of humor, keen wit, "snark", and intelligence will be sorely missed. I looked forward to reading the page every day. R.I.P Terry, and my sincere condolences to you Mrs Bartcop. I will continue to use the amazon link.

So sad to hear of Mr. Bartcop's passing. I always looked forward to his comments and critiques of our crazy political scene. He was a true American patriot!

Mrs. Bartcop, I'm so very sorry for your loss, Bartcop has given me so many laughs over the years and has always been a bastian of sanity in this insane world. I always looked forward to each new posting, keep the Amazon link up, I use it all the time. Kim from NY

One of the first and one of the greatest. As we wallowed in the ignorance of our fellow "citizens", most especially during the "W" fiasco, he held us up. I called him "Ball - Peen" in my correspondence since that is the hammer used to shape things.Though he might hate me saying it while he was here I trust he is pleasantly surprised at the next step. Such a strong spirit deserves fulfillment.
My wife, who introduced me to him, and I grieve. His devotion to his wife was evident and she deserves much credit for being the partner and main passion of his.

WOW. R.I.P., Bartcop! First of all, my sincere condolences to Mrs. Bartcop and family. I hope you can keep the page up, and maybe even get someone to "take it over" to continue the fight.

I found Bartcop.com on the first day I entered "the professional" setting, and had a computer at my disposal all day. I still remember the first pic I saw at Bartcop.com: Dumbya with coke on his nose. It was around the time that Nader was electing Bush.

One of my proudest moments was being featured on the TOP OF THE PAGE, holding a protest sign, when Dim Son and Glenn BecKKK visited Tampa, FL (circa April 2009.)
I know that Bart was a non-believer, and most of us are "on the fence." I am not sure that there is an afterlife or Heaven, but I know this much: if there is a Heaven, Bart is certainly there.

Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie
Glad to have lived, and gladly I die
And lay me down with a will

These be the words you grave for me
"Here he lies where he longed to be
Home is the sailor, home from the sea
And the hunter home from the hill."

So sad to hear of Bart's passing. I've enjoyed this site since the early Bush years, Bart kept me informed and entertained. We conversed on several occasions and even though we did not always agree, I came back for more. It was impossible not to.

Bart was a special kind of guy.

Rest in peace brother, and thanks for all you contributed to sanity in an insane world.
